Does Thorntrops+Roots = AOE Control?
Nope, immobilized mobs will not try to run away, they'll just happily shoot you with all ranged attacks they have.

[/ QUOTE ]Actually, While I have died in just about every imaginable way in this game, getting aggro via mass immobilize is not one of them
I've died cause of that, first attempt at an Ice Controller had me laying down an ice slick, then imobolise........ stupid way to die, rest of the team didn't like it either.
Unless you have a disorienting attack imobolise doesn't provide great control IMHO
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"

Agreed, because most immobilize powers negate knockbacks/up/down of other powers(such as Ice Slick)but they're really great with AoE Disorient, making the mass disorient+mass immob an additional AoE hold(Flashfire+Fire Cages )
Wondering if the fear element in thorntrops is enough to provide control on immobilised mobs? Appreciate a response.
