I was a little skeptical before getting it too.
Having got it, I have decided that it is great. I use it in AV/EB fights mostly, or when a situation looks like it is heading south fast.
Running Herostats or having some kind of timer is very useful though, as you really want to make sure you are out the way for the crash, so you can pop a blue and green/dull pain and get back in there.
I slot three resists and three recharges in mine.

If your build's anything like mine, you're looking at around 150% resistance to smashing and lethal, with 100% to everything else that isn't psionic.
I'd say that alone was enough to warrant the crash; the length of time Unstoppable lasts means you'll get some serious [censored] kicking in before it crashes on you.

Yep. On pretty much every occasion I use it on my Tanker, after some time - a fairly long time in my own estimate - I start wondering when it's going to crash... then quite some more time goes by, and it finally does.

1 Is it worth taking
2 If so what best way to slot it
3 Is is best used as much as posible or as a panic button or even situation ie av elite boss fight.

Unstoppable is one of the big advantages the Invuln set has over something like Fire or Dark. It is a panic button and a situational power, but basically you'll find Unstoppable massive help whenever you're going up against a large amount of non-S/L ordinance. This could be an AV or simply a rather tough group of minions.
Tanks don't really need a lot of slots in it, however Brutes probably want at least 2 Recharge and 2 Resistance SO's in it, to push those Resistances to near the cap.

if you can work with MoG you can work with unstoppable, i'd say worth taking for those buy time situations where its kill or be killed, on a brute i'd consider 3 rec, 2 resist and 1 endrec (yes even the endrec) but i have avoided getting an invuln brute.

If you switch off Unyielding whilst Unstoppable and have Dull Pain ready you can get back up in less than 5 seconds without inspirations, ( Dull Pain then Unyielding ) and then start bringing the most important toggles in one by one.
Personally I found on my tank it was rarely needed, but I think I went overboard on defensive powers ( Tough, Weave etc ) so I was usually fine.
I've don't use it on AVs except when I know we have less than 3 minutes or once by accident ( Killed by Nemesis Rex after the crash, how embarrassing ). However for a Brute rather than a tank it might work better as you aren't expected to hold as much aggro.

On my herostats the crash is about spot-on, or -2 seconds(crash happens after timer has run out) or
so. I suspect having enough raw metal on your computer helps. If using herostats is too difficult, you can use slotted (3 rec.red) dull pain as a sort of timer as well, since it recharges faster than unstop crashes. ie. click Unstop, click DP, and after DP has charged you should get ready for a crash. This is slightly inaccurate, giving you a minute or little less unstop uptime after DP has charged. But its better than nothing.
The best way to slot unstoppable starts with 3 recharge reductions, what you put in additionally is up to you. My tank uses 2 resistance and 1 endurance recovery.

I got 5 second recharge on unyielding anyway incase it gets detoggled, my first stamina tick i dull pain (if i got no blues) and then its temp invuln and unyielding on second tick which is like 5 secs, I do not always drop all toggles either sometimes i drop only 1 and sometimes none depends on how i crash.

with enough taunt duration there would be no harm in running and blocking but i guess you forgot to time it.

I couldn't get it to work with this current patch. I suspect that something in the patch broke it. Normally that only happens with new Issues. You can try the 'Unstable' version at http://unstable.herostats.org
That should be more recent, or you could wait a week or so and try downloading it again. Usually they are pretty quick at getting it working with a new patch.

Unstoppable is great - it has finally enabled my Brute to go head to head with a Red or even Purple Ballista without having to resort to loads of purples and finish him off before he did me in - in fact there was time enough to spare to kick around a team of Longbow minions as well, before the power ended.
Just got Unstoppable today an woooooo its great!!!

Yeah, a definite panic button, but unlike MoG you cans till use Dull pain, blues or greens, and you're existing toggles work with it too. My Scrapper has 3xRes and 3x Recharge.
