Darkest Night and Tar Patch are two of your best power, must haves IMHO. I got them as soon as I could. I'd get Darkest Night at 20 & TP at 24 (because I love Shadow Fall). Although I love Fearsome Stare too.
Personally I don't think MMs need 2 blasting powers. Thats what goons are for.
Life Drain is a terrible power when you have Twilight Grasp.

Get these
20 - Fearsome Stare
22 - Shadow Fall
24 - Tar Patch
28 - Petrifying Gaze
30 - Darkest Night
as soon as possible. Fearsome stare is the most important imo. Fear/Acc debuff is amazing for when you use it, send pets in after and target any mobs u missed and ur'll be ripping through large groups in no time. Particularly handy when facing an elite-boss with mobs about him, target him fear the rest, makes life easy

Even if you could drop it, why would you? An excellent heal (Ok you've to run towards melee to heal the meatbags but generally that doesn't matter) with a great -acc debuff in it too.

I wouldn't call it an excellant heal, its AoE is too small. However it is a good power, anyone got an idea how much Acc and Damage debuff it does?

About the same as tentacles in Dark Blast I believe :15% for a defender, 60% of that for a MM. The 60% is also why the area effect is small for MMs.

So about 9%... It does say in the description that it debuffs damage, but sometimes these things are wrong.

As For The AoE, I always found it sufficient for myself and my pets, and that's all I need to be healing.

Twilight grasp rocks and i use it constantly when i can be bothered to log into a 40 Squishy toon :P
