I was really only asking about Kin defenders. I think I might take the risk of just using Transference, but running the Leadership Pool and Acrobatics as well..
If I remember correctly from my investigations on the US boards, the players there said that electrical AoE don't add endurance, only the single target attacks do. Are they wrong, I'll have to check.

I took stamina and i'm thinking of replacing it with acrobatics later. If you intend to PvP then you might want to rethink getting rid of Increase Density. It gives resistence to TP foe which your team will love.
I'm no sure why your dying so much in melee range though, maybe try hanging back till your team aggro the mobs then heal yourself between end drainers?
I also didnt pick any travel power, fine in pve, can be a bit scary in pvp when your inertial reduction runs out and theres a big group of villains chasing you

It has me baffled too. In a big group last night I was in the midst of battle throwing out Short Circuits & Ball Lightnings and when I looked at my End at the end it was 90% full! When I solo I run out all the time. And in those cases I'd be focusing on single-target blasts.
And although there was an Empthy Defender on the team they hadn't cast anything on me, I checked throughout the mish.
So I can't explain it any other way really. It would seem overpowered to allow the AOEs regain End too though.
I have a lvl 39 kin/rad defender.
I don't have stamina, transferance is all I need to get my endurance back up. No attacks slotted for endurance reduction.
I went combat jumping - superjump - acrobatics and have inertial reduction, combining IR and SJ gives you the maximum (caps out) and is great fun. Acrobatics is just too usefull to drop as I tend to follow the tanker closely to Fulcrum Shift and AoE the mobs (nuke included)
Increase density will be used if someone screams out that they are held. It doesn't free a hero from everything so it won't protect or free from sleep. It also grants resistance to smash/lethal so I put it on the tank before he charges in.

If I don't take stamina then Increase Density is here to stay. I just made a build without stamina that was much less forced than the powerpool heavy one.

My theory is bad pickup teams and that I'm forgetting I'm a squishy. So I was using Short Circuit somewhat indescriminately rather than controlling my aggro. My last character was a tank but I think I am just about getting into the defender mindset. In the 2 task forces I did on Friday I was fine and I was on a good team and didn't feel picked on.

I am planning on running the Leadership pool or at least Tactics from it. However if I put enough end reducers on it and acrobatics I should be fine ( fingers crossed ). If not, I can always respec at 34.

Thats what I like about it, keeps you busy. Sometimes, in the heat of the moment, i'l get such a good momentum going that everything becomes automatic. I also buff on the fly now, topping up the buffs of the next person on the list while my other powers are recharging.

You must have polite teammates, mine always say "sb" or "sb pls". They never seem to understand that I can't speed boost them unless they are close and in line of sight.
I really need to play with some new binds.

I tend to put those kind of things on macros, I was thinking of doing the Keypad bind for teams and experimenting with other targetting options.

personally i don't like having hover on a kin, or the idea of staying at range-safest place to be with kin is in melee although i don't like hover on any of my toons to be honest, i like staying mobile and 3 slotted hurdle and CJ works wonders for me in PvP and PvE. Personally with kinetics staying in melee so much and iny our caseusing ball of lightening and short circuit your more often or not playing like a blapper and movement is everything.
As for repel i hate the power, it sucks in PvP and way to situational to use in PvE ie it sucks. For PvP i use whirlwind because it supresses rooted and kinetic annimation is notorious for its rooted animation.
Btw if your intrested this is my kin/nrg build and im REALLY happy with it, the build is really about stacking debuffs on the player making them a)unable to move b) not attack because they have no endurance c) any attacks that fire off will have debuffed damage so they hardly scratch me d) they're perma knocked down when sapped out of their shields

Oh and soz for the late reply i've been away for a while
I need it with my Dark Kinetics corrupter. I tried to do without but its no use. I'm in the process of getting it now at 26. And he doesn't use Fly. He does have Hover for combat and a Jetpack he nicked off a Goldbricker for getting around but as its timed I never use it in missions.
My Illusion / Storm uses it but I use TP to travel so that explains that.
My Fire / Thorns dominator is only 14 but he desparetly needs it too. He uses Haste / SS to get around.
