Time off again for Lodestar

Yes I know I had time off defending Paragon and causing it bother on the other side but consider this not a holiday as sick leave for my PC.

On Monday I went off and took my PC in for much needed upgrading and it took until today. Sadly the bloody thing inspite of what I spent does not work right and I am limited to its use.

Needless to say its going back and Ill be having strong words about this. Hoping to be back for Hammi but if not have a good one and dont let it get a hat trick.

Oooooh, that was never gonna go well, you have my sympathies dude, although there seems to be precious little decent compuyer shops in the area now, sadly, even Nemax is heading to the dogs....

Same happened to mine after upgrading my Graaphic Card & double MEM, my problem was in the BIOS, hope you fix it & cya soon.
If not have a good X-Mas.

Just back on for a bit. I have the pc semi working. Intereseting Flush because both my motherboard and my graphics card were new upgrades. Unfortunately customer care means nothing to Quaytech so Im flying blind. Ill be on and off I think until new year. I might be at the party fingers crossed.

Ok there are issues still and Im having to wait until the store opens tech service just after new year. Im not happy at all and though I can get in game its putting me off and spoiling my fun.

So Ill only be on when I really feel like it. Thanks all for your support and no thanks at all to Quaytechs lack of support.

Ok Im up again. For how long who can say? Crossed fingers that should be the end of it. The problem appears to have been a faulty motherboard. It apparently worked fine but as soon as it was put in the case it went weird. So it was just replaced.

I woukd also like to appologise to the positron task force team I joined on new years day. Not a good time for my PC to go on the fritz.

thanks Coin. lol was their fault for supplying me with a dodgy motherboard when I bought from them. Had it replaced but now I think the new monitor I bought has a fault or 2. Have to call them tomorrow.

Thanksguys. The monitor just has a dead pixel. Im lucky with just the one. Though there are so many variables to the display I dont know where to start to get the picture right. Oh well. Ill get used to it in time.

Dead pixels are still fairly common on monitors, sadly, but if it helps, I had a dead pixel on mine when I got it, but it seems to have used an awaken, cos I can't find it anymore

Still, better QuayTeq than PCWorld eh?

Ok Im back for now after 2 weeks. The rumours that I was held captive at the femmes base all this time are completely untrue... honest.

I expect to be well rusty and very behind but that couldnt be helped. My Im on watch duty with my PC now. Was an odd faut but I hope its nailed. If not and I disappear again for some time you know why.

Apart from Gandrel leaving I hope I havent missed too much. Anyway Ive missed some of you lots so Ill see you in game.

I heard third hand they may be going bust. Could be false but if true it would follow their behaviour especially lately.

Well it about to go back again and even thought the law is on my side the store doesnt want to accept responsiblity. I mean they have been warned Im in contact with trading standards. So Im just closing down and packing it off to the store and having some more words with them. And slamming their excuses.

Wish me luck. Ill be back with a new PC or by fluke a fixed one and Im hoping before Valaentines for the badge [censored] and partying. With luck Ill be able to have a date with the lovely Famke if we can both get online. Added incentive. Fingers crossed an all that.

Ok I been on and off most of the last two weeks. Mostly off truth be told.

I have had to get more than just trading standards involved as getting a refund has proved to be nigh on impossible and the store is ducking responsibility. But the machine is about to go back and I have the back up of a professional who is also knows how to talk. We are going to try something tomorrow morning.

So as I say most of you who know me know the situatio has STILL continued since late December. Just wanted to let you know for those who wondered why I been off an on still. Its either because its been in test or I havent felt like playing with a PC that crashes.

This seriously sucks, I hope you get it sorted soon, need to get you that TF badge! and sort you out, I would buy the idiots guide to building a PC and send it to them
