Created items and now can't place them

I have done some work on the bench in the base and created a telepad and 2 Ignitorss (I think thats what they're called).

I don't appear to have a room to place the ignitors, does anyone know where they go? If thats not the right name, they are the defensive items that spew fire at enemies in the base.

The telepad is a wierd one. We have a teleporting room which allows for 2 telepads and only has one. We have enough power and control to cater for another one so can anyone tell me what the problem is?

all defensive items have to be placed in a secruity corridor

Igniter needs a "choke point" aka. Defensive rooms. Costs a bundle...

Teleporter, remove everything but the teleporter in the room, and try again. I'm asuming your using the small room... Stuff like the beacons can interfear with placement, as they need to be able to be destroyed, so a clear path is needed.

I believe you can also place them in secure rooms...although they cost even more than defensive rooms

I haven't placed the beacons and wouldn't know how to replace them if I destroy them. How is that done?

Beacons can be destroyed in raids... as any other item that is important to the base.

Then I have no idea why you can't place the second... as I said.. remove ANYTHING in the room you don't need, make the floor flat all over and then try again... all I can say really... I got 2 teleporters into the small room, so it can be done, but they need to be Next to eachother... or it won't work...

And yes, you can place defensive items in Vaults too

If they need to be right next to each other then that is probably the reason. I tried to place it in the opposite corner and it wouldn't take and in the corner next to the current pad, the beacons are there. Will try that later once I have finished in this scabby hole called work

About the beacons though, how are they created? And, mine are only lvl 37, is there a way to strengthen that?

No way to make them higher level... srry..

Beacons you place like any other items, they are added when you get the SG Beacon badge

Yeah, tried to do that too myself, but they won't fit that way... srry

Or a "secure" version of a room like secure generator room, secure control room etc. These cost more than you can possibly imagine. Plus the plot gives HUGE restrictions to how many defensive items you can have anyway.

Beacons arent crafted items and simply give back the prestige and go to your edit base menu if you sell them. You can put them back with no fuss.

One small teleporter room can only manage 2 telepads and 4 beacons btw.

So can I sell the telepads, beacons and the room then put that money toward a larger teleport room?

Yes, but you will need to build telepads from salvage a second time, as selling telepads means the salvage used to build them is lost.
