I have both, but I'd go for Neutrino Bolt if I had to choose between the two. It's faster to recharge, so easier to fit in an attack chain and also better if you need to interrupt someone. Theoretically, it should be slightly more useful with Scourge, since you're less likely to overkill and have more shots to trigger scourge with, but I'm not sure if you'll notice it.

I always went with NB and not X-ray, xray has a slightly higher defence debuff I believe but a slightly longer activation/animation time.

You can quite easily just live with Neutrino Bolt - it's fast recharge and animation time means it chains quite nicely on its own.
Neutrino Bolt :
Brawl Index: 1.6667
Recharge: 1.5s
Animation: 1s
Cost: 3.12
X-ray beam:
Brawl Index: 2.77778
Recharge: 4s
Animation: 1.67s
Cost: 5.2
Hell, going on that alone, I'd forget about x-ray beam, chaining the two doesn't add a great deal. However x-ray beam is GREEN LASER EYES and therefore has a huge cool factor - many enemies will find you too cool for school and simply give up and die rather than face you.

Geko also posted that Neutrino Bolt, is the power with the highest single target DPS in the game. Mind you this was for Defenders.
In the hands of a Corruptor it does:
0.75/0.66 = 1.136
So 1.136 times more damage.
Neutrino Bolt is also one of the best powers in the game, for people that want to concentrate on their secondary powerset. As it is possible to only have that from your primary, and still be able to solo at a decent rate.

I had X-ray eyes on Gamma in Beta however she doesn't have it now far too slow for my attack chain. It does look cool as all hell though and I will probably take it once I can get Gamma past forty!

It's bizarre how many times I had to read that sentence for it to make sense to me
I think this may be considered a heretical opinion about these parts, but *mumble* I can't stand the animation on x-ray beam *mumble* so I never took it earlier on.
I wasn't sold on the animation length v damage either, but then I only seriously considered it at a comparatively high level by which point I had cosmic burst anyway (now that is a cool looking power) to pair up with neutrino bolt - as I'm kinetic I don't need to worry about little things like recharge, or getting close to stuff, I'm there or there abouts anyway
.... or both?
Which of these powers are worth taking in a rad/rad build? It seems that a well slotted neutrino makes for better result than the x-ray, but I am unable to find any clear pros and cons on this.
