what's your toon's story?

For those doing RP, what's the story/life of your toons?- originally typed this in "how old is your hero", but I thought this was too long and off subject with the thread..

My new favorite is wicked tongue, a reptile/lizard stalker (which escaped with the otheres yesterday at about 6.45pm GMT, and went up to level 6 by 9.00pm).

He shows great promises as an assassin, Although he's got an exposed brai, horns, and reptile's origin, we're not sure how old he is, he could be coming from an experience gone wrong with radiation near his nest/egg (hence mutation and not science), or he could simply be either a new specie...or the last survivor of his specie... It is fairly hard to know as the exposed brain is the mark kept from crey industries trying to make him into a slave...
Unfortunately for the scientists performing the operation, knowing very little of his brain, they broke the protective layer surrounding the left side of his brain, which unlocked new powers previously unknown to wicked tongue (or forgotten)... also waking him up in the process, totally clueless of what was happening to him, or why he was there, seeing people with cutting tools, and his brain exposed in the mirror in front of him, only one option was logical... fear, revenge and total anhiliation of the people that did this to him... the human race... wicked tongue was not evil, but as been made evil by humans (feel free to cry here)...

While slicing the last scientist throat, only one word came into his mind..."HIDE"... he then discovered that if he was out of sight, he could then "hide" in plain open areas... escaping the hospital, he then was hit by a car... naturally most people believed he was a hero, as such he was brough to the galaxy city hospital, revived, and then woke up to Face The back alley brawler... being questionned as who or what he was (not having a hero registration), still in schock and in pain from the previous hospital visit... by the back alley brawler and his "excellent" communication skills, wicked tongue though "hide" once again... and escaped into siren's call... there he met a Tsoo master and his minions. After defeating several foes, The Tsoo master gave him a Blade (supposely thousands years old) as token of respect... wicked tongue then promptly tried the blade.. he went in hiding again, and killed his Tsoo master... Only to be arrested by a regiment of longbow agents...Put in jail... He then saw an opportunity when all hell broke loose and the arachnos agents took him in...

For the first time, he felt accepted for who and what he was... He joined forces with Arachnos... for now... as his ultimate goals are revenge, and finding who and what he is.

We usually do this sort of thing in either the Creative section or Roleplaying section as it's more appropriate over there...

Ellie's origin and development to her current state is rather long and complicated, but started with her being crushed in an accident and a Kheldian offering to save her life by joining with her. But she's now VERY different from those early stages and is unique amongst other Peacebringers...

@FloatingFatMan

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

DW: formerly timid web designer/TV researcher granted magical powers and by reading and then becoming Guardian of the Codex Of St. Delia. Also psychically connected to all other Guardians throughout time and space.

PowerStar: Ordinary Paragon CSI who risked her own life tracking and saving hostages from CoT. Life saved by Citadel, who built her a battle suit. Still works for PCPD.

Agent Flux: globetrotting corporate spy and thief who became involved with Crey robotics researcher, Professor Chronotis. Helped him with his work by stealing components and working on code, while he helped her work by letting her test the drones. Researcher killed by Crey and Flux framed for the murder - the one crime she could never have committed...

Is it time for the dance of joy yet?

War Crow: bit complicated really. Originally he was a welsh warrior-priest of the goddess Morrigan. This turned out to be total rubbish, a fantasy he had invented to make his life more interesting, but his power had made it real, for him and those around him. He is currently trying to come to terms with the power he has and so has removed from his own mind all knowledge of War Crow, creating an alternative personality for himself who is supposed to help work out what's going on. (Said it was complicated.)

Velvet was a glamour model who lost her husband and daughter in a bomb blast. She knew Aikido and iaijutsu, so she created a hero persona and set out to fight crime. She's not too good at it, unfortunately. Since then she has picked up an adopted daughter (Jessica) and had her issues over the death of her family... made less of an issue.

Jason Caine was cursed by an angel for the crime of genocide "to live forever until you achieve redemption." Unfortunately, no one knows what he's supposed to do to redeem himself and, in 8000 years, he's tried more or less everything. He believes that Heaven has forgotten him and he'll be wandering the Earth forever.

Lilith is Jason's nemesis, even older than he is, and an ex-lover. And that's all I'm saying about her, because she doesn't give away the information that freely.

Glory appeared in Paragon City about a year ago, materialising out of nothing, fully formed, including little white dress and boots. Over time, her boots have got redder; she claims the blood won't come off. She believes she might be a goddess, but isn't too sure.

Enherezza was a slave from another dimension who managed to accidentally escape while out hunting. She was really incredibly submissive and didn't have much of a clue, and no one picked up on it at all. I must bring her back one day to finish her story off.

Disclaimer: The above may be humerous, or at least may be an attempt at humour. Try reading it that way.

Would Goldangel be the angel that cursed him? - maybe Jason only need to ask what needs to be done? -

I have a kind of 'Family' and most alts are connected to them somehow.

Chris, or Blaze Johnson, was a speed freak as a human and was jealous of superheroes abilities to zip around Paragon City at top speeds. He worked on ways to speed himself up, including special steroids and a unique treadmill. Whilst using it, his lab was struck by lightning, causing an energy overload. He fell into a coma and remained there for two years. Upon awakening, he found the energy had stored up inside him and had given him amazing new powers.

Being a Superhero, Blaze met fellow hero Phoenix Johnson (my girlfriend's first toon) whilst fighting Circle of Thorns on Talos Island. Eventually they married. Phoenix is from a long line of witches.

They had a son together, Jake. Jake took on a fire based name to emulate his father, Piro Johnson, and as genetic blend of his parents, he gained strange powers over radiation at puberty, and the ability to fuse together wounds and heal people.

Napalm Johnson is Blaze's father. Napalm was always absorbed in his work in the military and was once alienated from his family. However when his Son and Grandson were kidnapped by Maestro, he took it upon himself to save them. He broke into his old military base and stumbled accross a powerful prototype axe and armour which rendered him almost invincible. Using this advanced technology he won back his family and a chance at a place within it.

Blaze's Sister also gained Superpowers. Out of heavy jealousy she found her way into the dark arts, and when young and foolish, accidentally awakened the undead. When she showed them no fear, they decided to become her followers, and she took on the handle of the Mastermind, Jynxx.

The last person connected to the family is Broken Echo. Echo was born out of hatred expelled by Blaze after believing his wife a fatality of war against Recluse. Although Blaze was wrong, she was very much alive, he had snapped, filling with vengeful anger and setting off one of the most powerful Nova attacks ever. When Phoenix came to collect his weakened body she found his dark side trying to keep him there. With her sister's help she used magic to seperate his darkness - which stayed there eventually manifesting into the dark Stalker, Broken Echo.

There's also another toon but I've talked enough already

Deluge was born Ethan Locke, early February 1982. He went through his childhood as any ordinary boy would, living his life to its fullest. After working his way through the education system, he finally won over a scholarship for the Massachusetts Insititute for Technology at the age of 19, being the youngest to ever do so. Keen on his work to make a clean, permanent power source for the entire world, he inlisted some of the worlds best minds to help run an experiment that dealt with a new kind of kinetic energy system that had been found during the Rikti invasion.

As expected the results were phenominal, the kinetic reactor produced the estimated outputs, and climbed to ten times what they had expected. As this was an unexpected turn of events, they had not deployed all safety countermeasures and the kinetic core became unstable. Ethan feverishly tried to hold containment on the reactor whilst getting all personell clear of the site, as he did not want his experiment to cost innocent lives.

In a last ditch effort to hold the containment, Ethan realised the only way to shut the reactor down was to stop the kinetic movement of the core. He entered the room wearing a special suit, modified from Rikti battle armour, and tried to manually stop the reaction. After much fighting with the computer systems and containment grids, he realised the only way to stop the critical mass from breaching was to disrupt the kinetic core with his own body, hoping that the containment suit would be enough to slow it down.

And he was right...

As Ethan plunged into the core, battling the intense forces that were ripping away at his body, he felt the energy levels dropping, slowing down the reaction. As he passed out into darkness, the core went into a localised supernova, bonding Ethans body with the containment suit, burning away all dispensible materials on both the suit and his body, filling the space with pure energy.

When Ethan finally came to his senses, he realised something was wrong. He could feel everything around him, as an enervating field, coming from the Earth's core. He found that the explosion had imbued him with the power to control the energy of everything around him, including the force of the Earth itself. As he worked himself from the rubble, he ran into a special Arachnos Strike Force, that had been sent to clear up the survivors of the disaster. The Strike Force tried to subdue Ethan, but he over-whelmed them with his raw power, sending his own body into a supernova, stopping almost everyone around him. The sole survior explained to Ethan that they sabotaged the containment field prior to the experiment under the orders of Lord Arachnos.

Ethan vowed to overcome Arachnos and make him pay for his injustices against the free world. So he travelled to Paragon City, knowing it under the guise of 'The Birth Place of Heroes', to put together a like-minded team dedicated to wiping out injustice and the fall of Lord Arachnos. This is when he joined the Precision Rangers, a supergroup that was totally dedicated to wiping out the criminal element in the city.

The fight carries on today.........

Scarlet's mother had been captured by the Circle of Thorns and was to be the sacrifice to a great Demon that they summoned, much to their surprise the Demon obliterated them and as they lay dying around him, he cut Lady Balance's bonds and gently held her while she cried. Scarlet's mother had captured his heart and they both battled crime together from that day, saving countless people from the Circle.
One day though, they were overwhelmed and killed, the circle having laid a trap and placed a charm of non teleportation around them.

Scarlet was forced to grow up quickly to take care of his still young brother. One night though a group of hellions went on a rampage, Scarlet hid his brother and tried to lead them away. However when he came back his brother was nowhere to be seen.

Recently with the outbreak from Zig, Scarlet has been hearing his brothers name, just whispers and bits of gossip, but he will not rest till he finds the truth.

(Still working on Crimson's story)

As suggested you should look for more origin or other stories in the creative section of the forum. Many Precision Rangers (supergroup on Union) have posted their origin before the boards were wiped. All these can now be found here on the Precision Ranger website. There are also several Ranger Tales about their adventures on the site as well.

Carnifax is a demonic imp from the Frozen Hell of Chinese mythology. She got a Portal Express ride to Paragon thanks to a young, dumb Circle of Thorns mystic who was trying out "Summoning Infernal Demons for Dummies".

She likes it here though. Frozen Hell isn't just a name and it's an easier life here than becoming a mouthful for a Giant Icewyrm or being taken as a concubine by whatever Slaver catches her.

The famed polar explorer and scientist Roald Amundsen went missing during a rescue mission in 1928, when his friend the aviation pioneer Umberto Nobile went missing near Spitzbergen. Nobile was rescued by another party, but Amundsen never returned from the frozen wastes of the north. At least he did not return as Amundsen, who was presumed dead.

Amundsen's one-man airplane had been cought in a blizzard, and he crashed into a glacier. Instantly frozen, completely incapsulated in ice, his body drifted across the north pole several times over the following decades.

His body was not found until 1999, and scientists were stunned to find that the ice had not only presered his body perfectly, but also rejuvenated it. Surrounded by powerful polar energies, his frozen body hummed with power. The scientists were able to revive the legend, and found him to have absorbed Arctic Powers during his more than seventy years of imprisonment in polar ice. Amundsen awoke to find himselt the master of the power rctic: the ability to call forth and command both intense cold and fearsome arctic storms.

Realizing that the world he once knew was gone, that the scientific expertise that had won him world-wide fame had become obsolete, and that everyone he once knew was dead, Amundsen donned the costume of Kaptein Norge. Amundsen never returned from his last jouney to the arctic - in his stead stands Kaptein Norge, upholder of the law, champion of democratic socialism and defender of social equality and the norwegian way of life. As Kaptein Norge, he set about defending his home country from the vile capitalist villain known as Private Sector. Powered by greed, cutting edge technology and mother earths black blood - petroleum oil - Private Sector had been corrupting Norwegian society since the seventies.

Kaptein Norge eventually succeeded in arresting Private Sector, who was incarcerated in the international super-security fascilty know as "The Ziggurat" in Paragon City. When Private Sector regained his freedom as a result of a mass prison break-out orchestrated by Lord Recluse, Kaptein Norge traveled to Paragon City, looking for a way to bring his arch enemy back behind bars.

Private Sector remains on the loose to this day, but Kaptein Norge is always right behind him - but seems unable to quite catch up to the vile capitalist super-villain for some reason.
