I made the mistake of picking Burst wich i really wish i did not, as i don't use it ever now. I just stand next to my soldiers, using Darkest Night, Tar Patch & Twilight Grasp. I don't plan on using M30 Grenade or Slug either.

Now i made it to lvl20 but i'm not sure wich power to pick? For you Dark users how do you like Fearsome Stare? How does Fear works actully, i'm not sure if i've seen it in action yet or if i did, i didn't know it was fear.

I'm interested in the Leadership pool aswell, i believe Assault and Tactics will be most welcome for my minions as they are lower lvl than me.

I don't have any endurance problem yet as i have just one toggle, Shadow fall and so far using Twilight Grasp/Darkest Night isn't heavy on the endurance. But if i do pick Assault then later Tactics i might need an endurance boost.

If you slot your toggles with 2 EndRed SO's when you can, your only End concerns, even with Tacttics and Assualt will be the initial spawn and buff phase.

Assualt will increase your damage by about 12% (so 1/3 of an SO) and Tactics will increase your accuracy by about 15% (s0 1/2 an SO) once slotted with 3 ToHit Buff SO's, so both powers are quite handy for your troops

Fearsome Stare is a useful power, once slotted. It is like a hold with the mobs cowering in fear and it has a slight cone to it so can affect more than 1 mob. At the moment, the mobs may occasionally attack whilst 'feared' however I believe that is a known bug.

I would hold off really looking at the Fitness pool until the level 41-50 epics are known, since there may well be an end recovery power in there which would be more useful to fill the occasional lack of end then waisting 3 power slots just to get a rarely needed stamina

Fearsome stare, Take it, 6-slot it (Yes, six even post-ED), and love it.

Agreed with Maxi...I took Fearsome Stare out of curiosity more than anything because poeople said on the boards it was rubbish.

Quite the opposite. It has a fairly slowishy recharge but I can usually pull 2 off in a fight. Its cone is really really long, not sure if it is narrower than a normal one though I haven't noticed.

Its effect does a number of things. The fear makes the mob just stand still and cower unless they take a hit in which case they can hit back once, then they go back to cower. Secondly it has -ACC on it.

I have been using it like this. Smokeflash Oni, send him to target point for Cone of Fire to get most targets. Order Attack and watch massive crit cone occur. Follow in, and fearsome stare from around the same point. Sending all the mobs into cower as my ninja begin to single attack the group one by one.

its also good for freezing an ambush in its tracks if your still occupied with mobs in front of you.

Going to respec into fearsome stare as it is part of the MindControl build... Oh I need to respec soooo bad.
