The CoH Text Log File Extractor/Filter

Just remembered this hasn't been reposted since the boardwipe!

Thanks go out to Guinivere for this handy little program that can sort through the text files produced by CoH's loggign system and slice through all the excess, leaving what you want.

Instructions:
Use the Browse button to find the text file you want, select what channels to leave in (Local, Tell, Team, Broadcast, et cetra), messages to filter out (Area Transistions, Enemy Defeated), what time you want to go through and search for keywords to extract lines containing.

The file is then outputted as FilteredLogDate.txt in the folder containing the log, and opened automatically to look at. The file is hosted on my own little area of the internet, but as I said Guinivere did the actuall work. I'm just a distributer!

Hey, Does Guinevere still play? Wondering if it's possible to get ahold of the source for this so I can add global chat facilities to it. Be a lot quicker than starting from scratch...

You could always use Spad's online Log Parser here:

Some of my logs are WAAAAY too big to post in there though...

Well. I honestly don't know where the source is but if you want it it's all yours, and if I can't find it I'll happily re-write it with all those crunchy new features you want.
