Sirens Call - 24/11
yup, was very fun and most of all no trash talking, like Im used to hear..
keep it up! I want my full set of 43 SOs
yep it was a blast, though for some reason killing Mr Nice was the best of all
It was nice to have moderately equal sides where the advantage was actually shifting in combat as opposed to one side just stuffing the other, heres hoping it continues

Agreed.
The attack on the Hero base early on was mental!
Tought me a thing or two about playing an illu. troller in PvP. Is confuse considered cheap tactics?
And as you say, no trash talk just congrats for good/sneaky/lol inducing kills. I was in Sirens all night I think!
Best... Time... Ever!

Yes...confuse is cheap tactics I almost assassinated one of my team I liked impaling floating illusionists and making them fall into the hands of villains though

No worries Fliknife, you people always worry me when I see you wandering around. A good challenge always brightens my mood, but I feel -really- cheap, being a controller. Y'know, stack holds to keep them under control, then propel them to death. xD
As for the no trashtalking business, I guess you werent there when the villain "GIMPMAN" was. He rather enjoyed his broadcast griefing session, and making it out as if I were ganking people. Thankfully, when you and the others showed up, you actually put me in a really good mood. Its great to fight against people who dont make it personal
Black Aria! I'll get you yet! I just need to buy 25 more sets of IR goggles then i'll be able to see you. But I will eventually get you! At least Greek had a good laugh watching you clean the road with our faces...
OH! That reminds me, I remember after GIMPMANs little personal broadcast griefing session, I was in a bit of a foul mood. I can accept certain levels of taunt are to raise a mistake out of opponents, but he really went too far.
The resulting bad mood, and the fact I spent an age defending against his claims on the broadcast, I ennded up snapping at someone who didnt deserve it. I forget who it was, but I mistook them for one of the people who were going through the entire broadcast insult deal with GIMP. I seriously forgot your villain name, but im sorry I bit your head off, at that point all I could see was a red haze of player-aggro tactics.
Me? Worry people? But I have pigtails! How can I worry anyone!
Good show again yesterday, archelon
And damn your spines scappers yesterday! They helped me feel the tarmac love And I am sure I didnt deserve it....no, really.........well maybe just a little.
Yeah good show last night Archelon, I began to feel a little bad about killing you during your long hold animations so often, that is up until the point where you held me Not sure how you are slotted on your holds but grav seems to get me more than other holds, it only took about 3 stacked to hold me while earlier in the day I had literally 3 rows of holds/immobs/slows on me and was still moving

I think it was me as well.. on Hero side
Think I managed to avoid you yesterday Aria, was Cola (sp) I think, was doing a mighty fine job of spotting and dropping me. Was only polite to return the favour
I have some tactics in mind for when I next see you! Of course they involve comments about cakes and ovens, and the action running.
ok i know aria will kill me for this but here is how to kill the untouchable Black Aria
1)Prepare a nice pasta plate with good wine and make sure the smell is spread in the air
2)Buy a Mac PC the newest versions and place it next to the pasta plate and whine
3) Make sure they are noticable from distance
4) you not have to hide as Aria will get blinded by the Mac and go for the pasta without second question
5)Once placed in front of Mac you know now she is immobilized and held at same time with no resistance..touching the pasta plate and sipping wine debuffs her defenses by 1000%
6)Dont expect sleep effect Aria is well known for not sleeping
7) approach from rear
8)Deploy damage
9)Send TG 1mil inf in unsigned notes for providing this info
10)Dont forget to spam in team chat "hihihihhihi" after executing Aria
In case i not live after Aria discovers this post please send flowers to my funeral and put a set of pink thongs on my death box
oOOoOOOOoOOOoOOoo

Thats normally the way with PVP
I find myself apologising to villains I havent fought before, for the cheap-feeling fights when I procedurally lock them down and bombard them with force bolts to drop their toggles..

It is quite strange really, I normally find my gravity powers very ineffective against most people, but my grav distortion has two accuracy SO's, being my weapon of choice vs everything. I only managed to KO you twice that night, I think, and every other time I only managed to slow you down or ground you.
There is seldom a middle-ground with controllers, their powers either completely dominate and lock the individual down helplessly, or they have no real effect. Then again, there is nothing worse than having a long, drawn-out 1vs1 battle against a brute, constantly locking him down, or having to walk backwards constantly throughout the fight as he slowly approaches and uppercuts you around.... then when you -finally- get the brute into red, he turns on SS/SJ and runs back to base.
*shakes fist*
Its just a personal rule of mine, but if someone has put on a good show of the fight, and neither side was completely overpowered, you might as well give them the KO that they really earned.
Hats off to Nertherblast for sharing that opinion too, he fights hard :3
Great fun again last night folks
Damn you Cota! Well and truely got the best of me last night
/shakes fist
Was fun again last night folks, although had a few things to attend to so couldnt stay for more of the tarmac loving.........
Well this was just a post to say had a great time in Sirens last night, with a small bunch of villains. Black Aria, Freya, Hackitoff, Stalk-obot to name a few. Was great fun running around (even as the squishy link) hunting/being hunted by heroes.
Also like to thank the heroes there, Archelon, Stun (dammit man you take ages to fall over!), Gandrel, and Ulti-blok.
Was great fun fighting you guys, and the broadcast chat was very entertaining.
