That won't make any difference. The problem is that it's hosted on a geocities site, so it rapidly exceeds the bandwidth allowance and becomes unavailable.
Hikari_Hime, have you got anywhere else you could put it? If not, PM me, I should be able to put it up somewhere for you.
Great story, excelent screenshots, insanely good staging and use of emotes and timeing... I'm currious how often you guys had to do a specific emote over and over again...
Some other points... the text balloons, I've had difficulty understanding who says what when... (I tried to make this clear in a natural left to right, from up to down order...)
And on Page 3 panel 5 it said: Geiger and Sophie...
I've enjoyed the comic immensly, the excuse... that alone would have been worth a prize...

Most of the dialouge was written the night before the comic, we stayed up till 3am getting it done, hence errors. And the formating was my job, if I had more time to play with effects I'd have done it differently. The comic was done in two days. The school interior was great fun to do though, Ellie used a method of having a set camera angle, and then we just used two people using students to fill the classroom, and merged the images together. I'll have to ask her how she did that.
And I did most of the dialouge and text balloons in Microsoft Paint. :< Wish I had photoshop on this PC.
As Z says, this is a hypercaffeinated productions MS paint special... I would have *killed* for anything that could handle objects by the end of this.
We needed at least 2 more days than we used really, since we did paper storyboards, screenshots for the real storyboards and then dialogue, and we had to do some cutting in between the paper and screenshot versions. I spotted at least one error before we sent off the final version, but fixing it would have been near impossible since we'd have to completely redo the entire page.
We didn't repeat many emotes, it was mostly set the emote running and then screencapture as fast as you could hit the button, and pick the best one. The positions of Min and the teacher mesh so well because...they're two different merged shots.
The hardest bit was probably the oranbega sceenes... we just couldn't get the victim to die at the right angle! We ended up doing this with a sup invis/recall friend tp'ing her onto the spot, turning the toon so the angle was right and then waiting for something to notice and kill her.
The rest was all done using 3 accounts, two live and a camera, and blending the scenes together... if you look really closely at the teacher in the classroom scene, you can just about spot where the camera moved slightly before we took the shot
Looks really good! I'm really impressed by the classroom scene. Nice dialogue, too, especially at the end.
This one suited the anthology title so well we couldn't actually think of another title for it.
Special thanks go to Ravenswing, Gideon and Doctor Temporis, all of whom made this caffeine fueled production possible at all.
a zip file can be found here and I can link the individual pages if people really want....
