Well, as of first thing tomorrow I will have Spawn of Skimpy running as my main toon. Yes I know I said evil skimpy or bad skimpy would be, but it's a much cooler name. (And yes demonette, I DID come up with this name on my own, it just so happened you suggested it at the same time!!! 
)
My intention is to split my time to some extent between the two. I would hate to abandon our SG mates in CoH, but we do have a new evil empire to build in the rogue iles!
Oh, and of course we need prestige so Tera can build our SG base!
And as for Rooney's comment, I shall take it as the compliment it was no doubt meant to be!
Anyway, I am still looking for useful suggestions on the original post, depite my SG mates rather pathetic attempt to hijack the thread!
Skimpy (Spawn of)
I would say that Ice would be more complimentary.
Slowing their movement and recharge is always a good thing, but lots of knockback from Energy does not necessarily gel with the holds/immobs etc (some of which needs the opponent to be on the ground to use).
I have gone for Thorny, I only want 3 powers out of it
Skewer - at early levels... close combat
Ripper - defence reduce, awesome damage
Thorn Barrage - toxic damage, defence reduce, awesome damage
I will make another dominator after this one with Psionic as the sec power... really want to try that power set but maybe with Grav as my main

I went for Plant/Ice, I tried /Thorn in Beta and it was great but fancied something different, kind of wish I'd taken /thorns now but ice works well with my cruel, cold persona 
OK, well, I was kind of trying to avoid the thorns set as it seems something of a set de jour, but in the end, as Prawnee will atest, this is in fact what I've gone for.
Ice came a close second but in the end was edged out by the fact that having large spikey thorns suddenly spring out of you just looks so evil
Reminded me of Beetlejuice, anyone remember that movie? What a classic!
Skimpy
Never watched it, scared the hell out of me !
Farmer Gyles is using thorns as his secondary to great effect, even if it is a bit of an end hog.

Nice, I took plant control & thorns too. I don't know how effective they'll be together but I love 'em just for my radical-botanist-turned-evil-thistle-mutant character. Just makes so much sense & really gels together.

I'm finding Farmer Gyles to be an absolute blast! When he hits Dominate, he can lock down bosses with 2 applications of strangle, and they stay locked down!!
I don't think I'll really get a proper feel for him until he ding's 22 and I get those weet SO's tho, as at the moment I'm saving Inf and just usuing dropped Training enhancements. I also can't wait for the triffid!!
