Stop Arachnos attack - Police scanner question

Giving this mission a try (Steel City, Jewelry story, police scanner mission), it tells me to head to the location and find out what's going on. I clear the place, rescuing the hostages, all of whom just say these guys are after me. Once cleared, I can't find anything to do, but it won't list it as completed. Anyone remember this one?

I'm new, so if there's a good source out there with quest hints/guides, if anyone has a link to share, I'd appreciate that too.

run around the map hitting your tab button. i'd almost bet that you missed a guy somewhere.

If you feel like waiting, you can type: /petition Stuck in mission

That will let you put in a petition for help from a Game Monitor. They're usually pretty quick around here; 10 minutes wait on average.


More immediately, you can go-back-to/call whatever source originally gave you the mission and select "drop the current mission from this contact" at the bottom of the dialogue window. That will complete the mission and give you the mission-completion rewards (but not the ones for defeating enemies in the mission) as if everything had gone normally. You can use the option to drop a mission once every three days. There are a few missions like timed ones and Badge missions that can't be dropped.

[/ QUOTE ]i had the same thing happen last week with a scanner mission that was the same setup, but with Nemesis instead of Arachnos and in Founders' Falls. The team i was with reset it several times, but it still wouldn't complete. The next day i tried it solo with the same result. i'd used the drop option a day before the first run and couldn't drop it, so i petitioned. The GM confirmed that all enemies and objective had been cleared and said it was a bugged mission. i suspect one of the scanner mission templates is broken. It was a stop the robbery mission on one of the less common shop maps.

i included the map file name and mission name in the bug report i filed. Hopefully it will get fixed soonish.

I had the same problem with that one. I /bugged it and dropped it.
