OK first off i had the entire post for the theme of August done and up after 2 hours and hadn't realized that it logged me out so i lost the whole freaking post. I needed to step away for that one but i am back. Still working on the post so gimme a little bit.
Secondly Chris posted up concerns about the entrants for last months theme. Heres really the answer to that. It was to catch them transforming from a hero into a villain or a villain into a hero using ANY character in the player base or the signature characters. So by my estimation they all fell in line with that, not perfectly but passable.

Look i know it's all a bit vague and we can look at the three and say they deserve a DQ but really they pass because i am not going to go through and make sure this one is a villain or that one is a hero. They weren't recognizable hero or villains i got it, but it worked toward the theme afterall.
So now that we got that squared away...what's August's theme?

True there is no money or influ at stake but you do get bragging rights, more exposure for your art (great if you take commissions) and the title of FArt Champion of 09 which, lets be honest is worth it right there.

Being an artist myself I love watching what other talented people come up with each month. I've been addicted to the game for the last couple of weeks. With the servers down, I am finally exploring the new forums.
Great job everyone, and thanks to all who voted for my piece. I will not let immunity stop me from giving it my best. I don't need it this month, but I may in September as I will be gone for two weeks. 
Chris, thanks for the helpful critque and pointing out all the things that could be improved. He is letting go of his sword indeed, and I should have made it more clear as you suggested.
