Anyone else have this problem with LVL pact?
What's the question?
Sorry if I was unclear, I was just curious if anyone had a problem of being in a leveling pact and leveling up one toon so fast and not playing the second so they were left with a new high level toon they have never played,
I understand it is not a problem for most people that are really good at the game but I have a Stone Tank at Level 40 that I have not ever played and a level 30 somethin Peacebringer that I have never played...Guess I shouldnt have said problem probably not the right term

There's the question.
And, yes I had that problem too. You'll get over it once you play the pacted toons and get used to the powers. It's not a big deal. Don't worry over it
Actually that is what I use leveling pacts for so it isn't a problem.
Why did you level pact them if you didn't want them to be higher or why didn't you play the other one and alternate them?
total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
yeah problem was not the right term, I just avoid teaming for now until I get used to him, I don't want to be "that guy"
don't get me wrong I love Lvl pacting, I just should have switched back and forth between the two better
and I always take a while deciding how to position my powers in the power trays, my current system is to keep Toggles in tray 3, Travel, and secondary powers in Tray 2
and attacks or most commonly used powers in Tray 1

Use Ouroboros and practice at various lower levels and you can get the hang of it and work your way back up.
And you can earn merits while you learn.

good call I always forget about Ouroboros as anything other than a quick way to travel between certain zones

[/ QUOTE ] This is a problem I notice more and more recently. New players think the Ouro Portal is a travel power and they end up not knowing what Ouro really is, and they don't even know how to get places without it.
I've seen players use Ouro to get to a zone they could have gotten to using the train not 100 yds away. For a hazard zone, they might use the Ouro to get closer to the zone, when they could have used the base portal right next to them to go directly there.
I see in IP:
[Broadcast] Player1: How do I get to Kings Row? (for the Rikti Invasion that was announced)
[Broadcast] Player2: Take Ouro to Atlas Park, then Take the Yellow Line to Kings
[Broadcast] Player3: Does your SG base have teleporters? The portal is near the Green Line.
[Broadcast] Me: Check the map. There is a tunnel on the East wall that leads directly to Kings. Its not far from the Tailor.
[Broadcast] Player2: I've never heard of a tunnel system. Just take Ouro. It's faster.

I did this with a VEAT and a bots/traps MM, playing the VEAT almost exclusively to 50. Then I discovered I enjoyed playing the bots/traps so much that I rolled another one and ran him from scratch up to (currently) 48, leaving the original one to gather dust
And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

These are my favorite stories,
I used Ouroboros when it first came out with one of my Mains but haven't been back for anything other than travel, I use it to get from PI to Talos to sell or pretty much anywhere to Talos to sell it is just extremely convenient

First off I have two accounts because I often dual Box, so I have several toons in a level pact so my Alt-itis will help out other characters of mine level, anyways here is my problem....
I have a level 40 Spine/Regen Scrapper(my first time trying him) who I fell in love with and have played pretty much only him for the last several weeks, and he is in a leveling pact with a Stone Tanker who I haven't played since level 10, so now I finally went back to play my Stone Tanker and I feel like I have no idea how to play with him because I didnt go through the process of leveling him and really learning the build....
So this is how it must feel to get PL'd or AE'd(not sure what it is called but sounds good) and have a toon that high, I know I will learn him pretty quickly but I am a little worried to join teams with him because I don't want to be a stone Tank who cant tank, so I guess I will solo for a while, not to mention I have very few enhancements on him so far so I need to do some Inf Transfer from the Scrapper to him
I also have a Fire/Kin pacted with a Peacebringer, and I have mainly played the Fire/Kin so I have no idea how to play the PB past about level 12, though I did play a WS to level 18...and they are one of the harder ATs to play
So after my Novel/Wall-O-Text, anyone else have this issue, just curious
