Hami raid, Thursday, July 23rd

The League of Champions and the Champions Coalition will be hosting a Hami Raid on Thursday, July 23rd, at 9:30 Eastern, 8:30 Central, 7:30 Mountain, and 6:30 Pacific time.

As a bonus, the raider who makes the kill shot on Hamidon (as noted in the game log, '$target has defeated Hamidon') will receive INF 10 million as a prize. To qualify for the prize, the player must have played the entire raid on an active team - leechers need not apply.

Come meet the League of Champions, and help take down the Hamidon one more time!

Argh, I'd have to haul a** home to make it in time!!!

I've never done a Hami raid.
So where do we meet?

In the Hive. You can get there through Eden. If you have an SG base with teleporters, the Eden beacon will drop you off not far from the Hive entrance.

Everyone gathers in The Hive, which is accessible in Eden (the SG portal to Eden is very handy, as it drops you off very close to the entrance to The Hive). It's been awhile since I've been to a raid, but the last couple times I tried, the zone filled up super early...so try your best to get there early (at least 20-30 minutes). Before going, I highly suggest taking a peek at Quat's Hamidon Raid Guide to familiarize yourself with how the raid works (though keep in mind that a lot of raids are not using Blue team anymore and are shuffling those folks into Green team, so it's likely that a Blue team will not be formed). The raid leaders are really good about walking folks through the raid process, but from personal experience, reading Quat's guide really helped me avoid feeling completely and utterly lost during my first raid.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the raid. It was a successful no-retreat raid, 31 minutes or so from initial attack to Hami's fall. Great job everyone!
