Well to day i was playing my thug/posion MM. well i do lvl 36 mm lft. like i always do. Get an invite from a random stalker. dont usally do this but since i was bored i joined w/o looking at their vet badges. When i get to the AE building for a farm **gasp** he sends me a tell about what power set i am. i tell him he kicks me saying that thug mm get everybody killed (even though i problly coud solo most Strike forces). He was a 0 month vet and probbly be lvl 5 right now w/o AE.

But aside from the story of my day. is there truth in this that thug mm get evry one killed and shouldnt be allowed on teams?

sry about my grammer not my strong suit.

He was just a nub case. Honestly I'm a firm believer of any 8 man team can do anything in this game. I don't usually lead teams but when I do i take first come first serve.

PS. Stick away from those ae farms their boring as all hell(personal opinion)

Thugs are no worse for "getting everybody killed" than any other MM set. Basically, an MM who doesn't know how to control their pets will end up drawing additional enemies into a fight. An MM who knows what they're doing, of course, is a force to be reckoned with.

The noob probably played with some bad Thugs MMs and maybe played with a few not-so-bad non-Thugs MMs, and formed an opinion on that. Either that, or someone was telling them lies and half-truths while laughing at the noob from their dark, lonely room.

Well today I was playing my Thug/Posion MM. Well I broadcast "lvl 36 mm lft" like I always do. I get an invite from a random Stalker. I dont usally accept random invites, but since I was bored, I joined without looking at their Veteran Badges. When I get to the AE Building for the farm, **gasp** he sends me a tell aksing about what power set I have. I tell him and he kicks me saying that Thug MMs get everybody killed (despite the fact that I could probably solo most Strike Forces). He was a Zero Month Vet and would probably be a lvl 5 right now without AE.

My story aside, is there any truth in that Thug MMs get everyone killed and shouldn't be allowed on teams?

(Sorry about my grammar, it's not my strong suit.) [/Translate]

Judging by the story and question, I'd say your vet badges aren't too numerous either.

And yes, the guy had no clue what he was saying. There are no bad power sets or ATs, just bad players.

Funny, I consider it my job to shovel as many groups into the killing zone as possible. I'll pull using an enforcer, or even pull two different groups using an enforcer each, add in a Darkest Night pull, and a tar patch to funnel them all into a nice pack in the killing ground. One group with 2 darks and 2 rads we were each of the 4 of us pulling 1-2 groups simultaneously into one giant AoE Conflagration centered on a (optional) tank with a plant/ dominator as lockdown with a couple of blasters and a spines scrapper. Nice Stuff, we couldn't pull enough of them fast enough. I guess each to their own.

That, at least, I can agree with.

Sorry, I meant "drawing more adds than the team wants to handle." Nothing wrong with drawing adds if the team won't get angry at being wiped by it (or won't wipe in the first place).
