OK pretty much was a PUG, E-Kid brought his SS/Inul brute, I had a perma-dom Plant/Thorn. Grabbed a em/stone brute, a Soldier, a lvl 46 ?/dark Corr, a robot/ff MM and another MM, lvl 47, who was dead 95% of the time, didn't know her pets died if she stayed away from her mentor long enough and MARVELED at the Shivens that were popped at the end ("You can get those?!"). Yes kids lvl 47.
Proof MA is killing this game.
Anyways we got wiped as some of the role players got pinged off during the ambush waves. Oh yes, we had a stalker but he quit on the first mish. Yay. We would have been done around 2 hours if that hadn't happened. Ended at 2:55. With team wipe we had to clear map again, endure spawning ambushes wave after wave and clear the main AV room. After that he went down typical fashion. MM temps worked, as did all others. Dom temp is a bummer just does an aoe hold briefly, the corrupter one helps out more, as does stalker. Get your phail stalkers out of the closet!

The Dom and Corr temps are meant to be used as a 1-2 punch. If you read the description of the Corr power, you'll see that it only hurts things that are "helpless" (read as: HELD).
On a different note, why PuG a SF with a lot of people you don't know? Why criticize people for not knowing every part of the game? Does the game explain to people that their pets die when they are out of SK range? Does the game tell people where and what Shivans are if they never go into a PvP zone?
Just some questions to ask yourself before typing a snarky post. You finished the thing. It took a while I see, but at least you finished it. I've had 3 failed attempts while learning how it works with different teams, and I've seen several people who post on the forums who still haven't completed it.
I've had teams that have finished pretty quickly now, but I've had plenty of veteran players who haven't been off the floor for the majority of the SF. People play at different levels, regardless of their length of playtime here in the City.
I'm not attacking. I just wonder what the next scapegoat is going to be for people once the "MA has ruined the game" dead horse is finally put in the ground.

You know, I did post a bittter pill in that reply to the SF I ran, but I guess your stance hit me as just as naive and snarky too my friend. And sorry if I didnt turn the sarcasm light on. We helped the MM out considerably. More so then what many a griefer in the friendly confines of Triumph would have. Is MA ruining the game...I will modify my statement. Zones are empty, players without 3 month vet badge working on 5th lvl 50 and yeah, you learn the basics by teaming and participating in content. Not in MA where you get auto sk'd and see only a scratch of content.
MA has ruined the game for me. Along with the market system. PuGs are all I do for the most part. The core of the joint coordinated activities I did left with base raids. So hooooo-ray. Take a walk into Azrhiaz's once cherished SG base now that is nearly empty with all base raid players gone. We used to thrive as a community now it is a small core of players running...PuGs. Sadly, it isn't the PuG, it was the player that was enabled to skip so much this game has to offer that bothered me.
The point I was making was the SF is doable even with awkward groupings and yeah, the temp power was not fun for me. And how disappointing it is the direction this game has taken when you can now solo your way to 50 in a day or so, and stumble around not having experienced so much. When I first started playing the community aspect of it was the best part. Sorry I bothered to bother you. In the future I will only post happy birthday wishes and comments on your negative posts letting you know not to be negative. After all noone ever complains here.

The point I was making with the temp is that if used correctly, you have the potential for a lot of drops. When you do the Dom-Corr 1-2 punch, you get credit for everything it insta-kills (at the moment...hopefully that doesn't change). Repeat: Insta-kills. Not distracts. You hold, you dust devil, they all die. It's actually quite epic and hilarious.
Well, honestly, I blame a lot of our SG leaving due to boredom, Baba. With 2 issues of essentially no new shinies, everyone went on to new stuff. Sure, the MA was fun, but it was just a rehash of what we've all done a hundred times before. Try not to take their frustrations too personally. Its really not about you at all.
There are a lot of people on these forums with their own agendas. And many with their own personal beefs to air. Cath hates the doomsayers about the MA. The Alt-o-Holic has his own personal crusade about farming and goes into every single section in the forum to drop his two cents.
The truth is, a lot of the new people getting into the game know nothing else BUT the MA. If they are using it and getting their fun from it without ever going elsewhere, that's their choice. There's nothing we can do about it really, except maybe laugh and scoff under our breath.

Sorry you took offense to what I said. I just think a lot of people are blaming AE for anything that's wrong with a player or the game. Indirectly, you were right, though. The reason things like base raids haven't been fixed is because the devs spent more time rolling out and promoting a new feature that is still being fixed on a regular basis.
Here's my "agenda" (w/e Az): I hate seeing things removed from the game. Period.
I've seen people on the boards complain about things until the devs finally say, "Screw it!" and remove the whole system. Then there's PvP. While I wouldn't say it's been destroyed, it was changed very drastically based largely on feedback from non-PvPers and the devs' need for controlling any type of farming in the game (see Castle's comments about pocket emps in RV.)
I don't expect things to not change. That's life. I just see a lot of good uses for MA, and I don't want to see it removed from the game once all those boxes that advertise it aren't on the shelves anymore. It probably won't happen, but then again, base raids are coming back...when?

OK back from my trip and getting caught up. This was another stupid outburst from me. Because once a month I get real cranky. As I get older it gets spotty.
Bottomline was I got called out for being a whiner and I basically was. I use sarcasm as wit but it never seems to translate well on the interwebs. So being sarcastic, I wasn't smashing the player per se, rather the decline of the "community" aspect I see. Like I should complain about another player...I am no rock star.

From what I've seen, they don't exist anywhere except "overstock" retailers or some random guy on the internet who quit playing even though he had a stack of GTCs.

The base I am near (Lackland) has them very sporadically (60-day cards). The old school CoV versions with the scratch off cards that would take some seriously intense deciphering to read at times.
The Best Buy in San Antonio usually has one or two on the floor every few weeks. I think I am the one that keeps them restocking it. One card a month. Sadly, it is 30-day variety.
