I put this down for this coming Thursday, but I am open to better dates to get the most regular members we can in. I want to get as many of us in on this as we possibly can.
What are the level ranges involved? Smash Zone, my level 23 tanker would like to enter. Though by Thursday he'll probably be level 24-25.

Taunt only works if you really know how to use it. I would just web nade the tank and my 80 foot blasts still have a 20 foot range even while taunted. And if you gotta keep taunting your not doing any damage and well I've downed stone brutes in rv in less then 10 seconds.
I recommend NOT bringing a stone tank super slow poor damage the only thing you could do is be a taunt bot.

Well, Looks like I'm not the only one that doesn't get excited about PvP. Figured this would get more attention though actually. Instead it got pushed to page #3 and I even almost forgot about it. Only 7 of us signed up. I'll show up at 9 and see who else does. If we don't get enough for 2 teams, I'll just cancel it and we can do whatever the majority wants to do.
All you have to do is say you're hosting the battle royal in arena chat and im sure people will come.
If we don't have that many show how about we just have a brawl between who ever shows.
Wished I would be home for this it sounds fun but Thursday nite I log late cause of work.

(Edit: Any reason to restrict this to just heroes? There are arena kiosks in Pocket D, which make coordinating teams with the Reds easier, if that's in your gameplan.)

Thank you Fox for setting this up. This was my first go at the arena and I liked it. What I learned is that PvE != PvP ... great PvE toons SUCK in PVP.
I'm up for doing another one. Maybe we can try and launch a missle or do some of that other PVP stuff sometime...
Just think, the entire Horde on one team! LOL ... the PVP'rs wouldn't know what to do!

There's badge work to be done here, for sure. RV's the most exciting for me, with the turret captures/hacks (harkens back to my Planetside days), the AV/Hero spawns, and having all your abilities on hand. Next up for fun IMO is Siren's Call. Everyone's midrange, and the map's gritty and varied enough to where you get a mix of terrains (deep urban, wasteland, open sky/water fights). Warburg's deceptively large... the underground can get confusing if you're not familiar with it, and doing missile work (to get the badge and temp powers) can be really nasty to negotiate solo or in teams, esp. with the PVP element. Bloody Bay is my least favorite, because of the low level fighting, but it's still got a good mix of terrain (and I THINK it's the largest map of them all?). Shivan Shards are a must though, so maybe the Horde should look into BB and WB for their next planned jaunts.
I miss the duels on the globe in Warburg. That was so 2007 for me.
