Morning all! Went to see the movie last night. That was...rather pathetic. The people who went with us and had never readthe book thought it was ok. For those that had read the book, it was more "What the frak was that suppossed to be?"
I totally agree with you. But to be reasonable, they couldn't have included everything. The movie was two and a half hours long as it was. And to give credit where it's due, they did allude to things that can be explained with simple introductory sentences in the next movie. If you read the paper that Harry is reading when the movie opens...

I believe it's "tweeted". There's another word I'd use for Twitterers, but meh. I'd be censored. Some day, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook are going to combine into a mega time- wasting website called "YouTwitFace". And it will be a sad day.

I have seen all the movies and read ALL the books.
The movie was good. Even the hubby who has never read the books (has just had to hear my obsession over them) liked it.
They did take a few liberties but nothing that I feel made the story less appealing. And you are still left wondering how they are going to catch up with a couple things they didn't cover.
I have facebook and twitter and myspace. All fun, twitter is over-rated in my opinion. hehe
I think that catches me up on the topics of conversation.
