Boss farming

Well not really what you are thinking, and has nothing to do with AE.

I have been hanging in the ASN as of late. Just blowing through lvl 39-40 bosses(Hydra, Rik's and Cots) with my lvl 43 scrapper(xp off).

Last night two things happened.

A COT boss dropped a Miracle: +Recovery on me.
Nice, saved me alot of tickets/merits/inf.
(And I must say, 4 Cot bosses, even -3, can make you work for it)

Next, invited a PB to my team that had been playing for over 40 months and didn't know of the ASN... or at least how to enter. I suppose it would be easy to miss if you have never been on an AS trial.

Two salvage/recipe dumps and a Miracle.... not bad for an evening in the muck.

Anyone else have a boss drop a pool C/D on them yet?

Ever since the last issue they recently added the option that bosses have a TINY chance of dropping a pool C/D recipe. I've had Arachnos bosses drop Numina Regen/End.

I remember being level 15 and waiting outside a mission door with my PuG. One of the scrappers got bored and went to kill a nearby boss, which dropped a BotZ -KB in my inventory.

No cool ultra-rare drops from bosses yet. However, the OP's post reminds me of my first time in the ASN. My SG-mates invited me to the Hydra trial. I was minimum level for it, and that was one terrifyingly long run to get there. Thrilling, but terrifying. So many red/purple spawns. And creepy tentacles popping up out of the water. *shudder*

The ASN used to be REAL popular back in the day of Kraken farming. No one goes in there much anymore.

Too funny.... Back in it the hay day, friends would ask for help in getting out. My main(scrapper) had tp friend.

It seems like since they put in the boss drop chance, I've been getting about a single pool D every few taskforces. None worth mentioning.

Hi Organica.

I think ya need to be at least 35. Don't take anything higher than 43. 42 would be better for farming bosses, it kicks in the 39 lt for dropping stuff.

If your just going to map it.... anything will do.

Oh... just in case.
Enter any sewer and make a right and go through the door.

Yeah, I wandered around on Mouse Police (level 50) just to check it out, but I think I'll return tomorrow with Shinobu Dragonheart (level 37 MA/Invul). I can probably have some fun with her.

I have a 41 broadsword/regen scrapper too... but honestly my invul scrapper is very survivable, so I might try each to see how it goes.

I may have gotten a pool C/D, but if I did it wasn't good enough that I recognized it as being so.

Oh, the ASN.

I need to take my 39 scrapper in there. Or is she 40? Dang.

Just going down there to find that one wall placard.... *twitch*

Enter via Steel Canyon, it's the closest entrance to the plaque.
