It won't stun bosses, the mag is too low.
It's basically a minion stunner, which can be good if you get them in the tar patch and keep them occupied.

Does not stack from same caster. It'd be pretty overpowered if it did. Nevertheless, if you ever roll a /storm MM, you can stack it with Thunderclap for mag 4, which does in fact stun bosses.
...of course, if you were to go /storm, nothing hits you anyway, so stuns are sort of superfluous.
Being Necro/Pain, no doubt you're in melee a lot healing pets with your aura. The low mag stun isn't a bad power to have to bonus mitigation. I suggest maybe picking up your patron hold and slotting some hold procs into the power. Hit the bosses and lts with the hold, OG will take care of the minions for you. GL
Wow, I had no idea that it didn't stack. Well, that's depressing. Personally, I don't really worry about minions much but I guess it WOULD be a little powerful if it stunned bosses...
I appreciate the responses! I suppose I will hold onto it for now and give it a chance. Really, my problem is lack of personal damage. Air Sup and Sands of Mu are starting to get boring

Wrong, its also great for stacking with other sources of mez when on teams. Example the fear mag is low on Dark Armors Cloak of Fear. But when stacked with things like Spectral Terror, it adds up nicely.
OG only doesn't stack with OG, it stacks fine with other stun powers.

Masterminds do not have access to a confuse power, Jounin "Blinding Powder" doesn't count. You cannot control when and where the pet will use this power.

So on my necro/pain MM I recently got to level 44 and picked up Oppressive Gloom from the Soul Mastery patron pool. I had been looking forward to it for a long time, since i figured it could stun Lts and bosses if i extended the stun duration long enough.
So I used it at level 44 and it seemed to do very little. I tried it some, and it seems to work ok vs minions. But never seems to do anything against Lts or Bosses. I then got to 45 and put all the slots into it, and put in 2 acc and 2 stun durations figuring that should be plenty to see an effect. Not much. Still not seeing any sort of disorient on Lieuts or Bosses.
What should I expect from this power? How often does it tick? I mean, it says Mag 2, 9s duration and I have it up to 15s duration or so. Shouldnt a 2nd tick hitting a Lieut or Boss stun him? Right now I'm sorta sad about this power, but maybe I just need more slotting.
Any advice would be appreciated!
