Reboot of Freedom PVP League

I'd be down for this for sure, I agree with Silit however. Preset teams this early would make for stacked pwnage. The arena player base isn't large enough to go for a "league" right off the bat.

Hoping this doesnt turn into rangefest like KB allways does...

About the only useful melees in team PvP are Stalkers. Tankers, Brutes, and to a lesser extent Scrappers are more or less there for disruption via taunt and occasional contribution to damage spikes. Simple fact is ranged damage is king.

I guess I can try this out.

Really though, step up and start helping us organize stuff on freedom.
Gimme a place and time when Im on. Back when there was real pvp I had to give up the limited test pvping I did becuase of my work schedule. Its a lot lax'r/moar work coming in so I've been on moar, I'ld gladly halp although I haz no idea whar to start.

If KBs keep up at the rate they are going on freedom, we may soon be able to start running more casual matches with preset teams as we establish a player base. From there we can get started on a league. I think it's still a tad too early to attempt one yet. We do need organizers to get the more casual matches going and help establish a player base, though. Some of you forum jocks should get on that :P
Pretty much this. The TPvPLs I have been involved with had fun all around. Even the new players that had never Arenad before had a blast and were laughing and having a great time, even if they got farmed horribly.

Of course captains will pick people they are familiar with and that's a smart way to go. I think the last TPvPL had a limit on the number of people from the same PvP SG you could have on one team...with the collapse of the PvP ladder that isn't feasible (or perhaps necessary).

The critical thing here is getting more people interested in Arena. Bear in mind though, in an extended season people lose interest/find other stuff to do so you need to know your 'core' is capable of being in a match and contributing.
