Nice! How in the heck do you get these missions all ready to go?? I've never been able to figure out how to get that specific badge nor any others of that type.
Fhorar, here's a link to a great information source. I've keyed it specifically to the hero mission guide, and you'll notice little icons on the right side. Where you see the badge icon if you hover over it you'll see what badge it rewards.

Now, you'll still have to run the contact's missions for most of them until you get the mission you want up, but at least with this you'll have an idea which contact to cultivate till you get the mish you want.
Thank you for the opportunity. One of the reasons I had opted out to begin with was that I got blasted in the past for going too slow. This group seems to enjoy taking it easy and I appreciate it.
I have a suggestion and it is only that. Tuesday we complete the Spelunker mission. Then back to the Hollows. Once we complete the arcs there, we can do the Positron TF. After Posi, the Faultline arcs are simply grand - three AVs and a rich story. Again - only a suggestion.
The base is open. Derrick put together a decent infirmary. We have a boardroom too. It's a little messy, but Derrick promises to get it straightened around

I concur with that plan. We do the hollows and it will allow us to attempt that task force. I've done it once, and it was a real challenge with a pug, so I think it will be fun with a well oiled group like ours.
I use COH City of Heroes Online for badge, story arch info and such. Altho, I've had it on my fav list a long time. I tried to do a search for it today, and it said the site might damage my computer. It works for me, but not sure if I would recommend it. The plan about doing the Spelunker mission and then back to the hollows sounds fine to me. Maybe we could even look forward to The Cavern of Transcendence? I rarely ever do it on my toons, it's fun and frustrating all at once! REALLY looking forward to the evilness that is Positron. Soooo many lovely, yummy merits points await us....oooo.....ahhhhhh.....can't wait!

Well, that was fun! Nothing like (un)controlled chaos to get the heart pumping!!
I grabbed taunt figuring it may help our pulling a bit but, errr... I don't think I can use it til we're done! (oops, ah well, will be good to have in future.)
As you all know, I'm new to working with a team (well, to game even but *shrug*) so if I'm doing something wrong or could be doing something better, feel free to advise me.
Also, I know a couple of us put alts in to play during non-session times... Do we want to consider opening that up to others? Saw the thread about Virtues Supergroups and first thought no use posting us since we're basically closed but then thought "are we?" Just a thought....

Ok seriously the last two sessions have been tons of fun from the badges,story arcs and the great team work that is going on,good times everyone!
Alpha is doing just fine,no complaints here,actually the whole unit/team is kicking butt. Are damage dealers are on the ball with hailing flames,to the fire swords with slamming and knocking clowns out.Officer J keeping us alive during are chaos and keeping them baddies so confuse that I thought I heard a troll ask which way was his bum :P
As far as others joining I am all for it,this is a solid core of no griefing,each person encouraging the others and no pointing the finger if things gets wild with us ending up licking the floor.I know we originally had 8 people join the original unit..but it seems we never have a full compliment ((IRL always comes first)) but are they still wanting to be part of the Daybreakers?..Maybe we should see who is in or out fill those slots then work on alts?

Today really was lots of fun wasn't it? And our core group here really is gelling into a well oiled machine it seems. I really don't see any reason we won't experience the same success rate in the future as we become even more used to working with each other.
As for opening our group up to others I'm kinda torn. While I'm really enjoying working with just the small squad I understand others may be interested in the theme we have here. I'm not opposed to adding new suits for further review, assuming they meet our design requirements.
What I really wish is we could all obtain the PPD chest emblem from the vet reward, that would be sweet. I'm about 9 months away from it myself, but I wish there were some way to obtain it in game, through Dayjobs or something.
Ok, so I didn't make it Thursday either - man what a rough week (just closed on a house yesterday (thursday) and I've been tried to get everything squared away with that - good news though, the internet is up and running here already (woot). I logged onto Daybreaker Omega and I noticed the SG message said something about being in the middle of a Posi TF? Is this accurate? If so, how far into are you guys?
As I recall, we did the first two tasks... No idea how far in that is.

I'm all for letting new members in, a new group can sure use the prestige. And, meeting new folks is always a plus.

Yeah I moved in last saturday and have been working my butt off trying to get stuff set up and take care of this and that and unpacking... ugh - and now I've been working for the past twelve hours - I would kill to be able to sit down and play with you guys here in a few hours but I'm not sure I'd be able to even if I wanted to as you've already started the Posi TF and you can't add people to a TF after you've started it (at least that's what I thought) but hopefully things will settle down for me a bit by thursday and you guys will have finished the TF by then and I can join back in -- I sware I'm not normally this flaky I've just had a rough past couple of weeks (more so than I thought it would be).
I believe someone mentioned something about starting it over to include you... So if you see this in time, and can make it, stop in and we'll discuss (and I have a feeling this bunch wouldn't mind...)

Soon after the new boards take effect, I definitely plan on seeing if a few we've had not showing up (and not explaining why) are still interested in not... Either get them attending or try to replace them. Soon after that, I probably will open up the group as a whole (but not the morning crew) to outsiders to join as long as they fit the general theme. I'd probably allow PPD type toons as well, since I think that would work out in the overall scope, but if someone wanted to bring in a different type toon they'd have to explain just how it meshed with the group.
Of course this, as everything, is pen to group debate. I don't want to be no dictator around here!
And, if anyone cares and has time before the boards go down to make way for new ones, the latest segment of Daybreak Patrol -Alpha's Story has been posted in the Roleplaying Forum.

Must say, thing I am liking best about the group is how easy going everyone is. I'd been in too many groups in other games where they were all about leveling as quickly as possible, all about telling one another how to properly run their characters and any number of other grief issues. The Daybreakers? We just go with the flow and enjoy... And enjoying I am.
On another topic: I've PM'd all members (the original 8) and hope everyone replies soon. Mainly I'm looking to see if some of the "missing" members want to come back to the group or if they're no longer interested... Once we have that figured out, I will try to recruit us back up to 8 (if we fall below it) and I'll also be looking to open up the "general" group to others interested in joining on a non-static basis...
