You're rerolling your MA/Regen as an MA/Dark because Regen doesn't have Psi resistance?

NO...im not rerolling the ma/regen, shes nasty and shes staying. VERY hard to beat in a duel. I just wanted another hero melee pvp toon.
Might try a /Fire Scrapper then. Dark's pretty bad. Otherwise try a Fire or Shield Tanker.

Thx mac, but im looking forward to the challenge of playing the /dark because of the psi resistance. I was just wondering if someone could answer some of the questions in my first post.
..and yes i make foe specfic toons. I got tired of the end drainers and made an elect/elect brute. I totally [censored] that kin/electric fender and sent a stone tanker (in granite) running for mommy, altho he was almost to tired to run...lol Its fun makin PvP toons and again would like advice and/or answers to my first post..thx again

That does sound like a good idea. He will also be getting some PvP partial sets to help with KB protection. Thx
You'll need a lot more kb protection then that if you want to stand a chance at all in zones. Doms will keep you on your back making you a easy target for stalkers, and just about everything else.

You can slot a +stealth IO t get invis but anyone with +perception will see you
I have a really good MA/regen pvp scrapper but she lacks the psi resistance so Im lvling a MA/dark. Ive nvr played a dark melee toon at all so i have a few questions if anyone could assist....
Can stealth be used with Cloak of Darkness?
How does Cloak of Fear work? Is it like an aura or does someone have to attack like a stalker approaching to AS? and if not, is Death Shroud worth getting to avoid stalkers AS?
/dark has no KB protection so of course i have to run acrobatics which adds to my many toggles, any advice on recovery? I plan on 6 slotting efficiacy adaptor on stamina.
Opression Gloom looks nasty to use, is it worth it in PvP?
A friend says get tough and weave but i dont think i can deal with 2 more toggles...yes? no?
The pool sets i PLAN to use is fitness, leaping, medicine (for aid self) and TP (for TP foe)
I am an experienced PvPer but ive just nvr tried the dark melee toons. Any advice would be appreciated.
