you know the thing is... a person that is most likely nominated with this title isnt in need of the prizes that are being dished out.
Its kinda how i feel about all the award shows in hollywood.. wealthy people patting wealthy people on the back just seems so... meh.
It's a great idea, and well deserving for whoever wins... im just sayin thats a pretty sweet payout for a person that most likely doesnt need it.

Lone Juror
Bio: While serving his public duty as a Juror, Ed Starks, confronted with photos of a murder scene, had his latent psychic powers reveal themselves. He KNEW the defendant was guilty, and yet couldn't do anything about it. The trial ended in a hung jury as no one else could see what he could, and he couldn't exactly explain it either.
Not only could he hear the thoughts of others, but he could even feel the world around him through his mind. Slowly he realized he could move things that he could feel.
Disguising himself in a costume, he now works with the police to elicit confessions from Murders after arresting them by tripping them up by knowing what will make them break in interrogation.
So point being, it's not about how Cobalt helps people, or CriticalKat is awesome, or how any member of Perc does things on a regular basis to help people.
It's about the character concept + costume = honorable
You can be honorable and broke.
But, I thought all the nominations were supposed to be e-mailed?
Not to mention, it seems people keep taking this [censored] out of context.
It isn't about the person, it's about that person's in-game character. There's definitely more of a Virtue-element to this [censored].
So, the person could nominate their character 'cause for all you know, that really is all you know.
The same people you love on your team can be baby eaters when logged out .. or something.

WOW! I really didn't expect this type of overwhelming response to the contest. When Nibz and I created this contest (spending plenty of personal hours creating the web page, rules, graphics, etc), we did it just to have fun and to HONOR heroes on Champion. We know that MANY of you possess these qualities on your TOONS and thought that like many contests in the past that other SG's and PERC have hosted we see the same type of positive and enjoyable response to the contests. I guess I expected differently. Like many have said we multiply have to say how this is a CHARACTER CONCEPT contest not an ACTUAL PERSON contest. I have no doubt we all have tons of character traits that would make us a honorable hero but that is not what we are in search of. We are in search of a honorable hero in game. I hope that all those interested will please go re-read the first post and check out the web page and follow all of the rules. If you feel your CHARACTER is qualified then fill out the submission information and send it to Nibz and I via e-mail (please don't post them on this thread). I still have hopes that this contest can be enjoyable. I don't want to rant, I don't want to be disappointed, I just want to have fun and see the multitude of amazing heroes (characters) we have on this server in full glory!

I also have to add in we are sorry to limit some people entering the contest by saying, in order to be a winner you must be present. But it is a general rule. That I have used several times and find its best to stick by.
We understand RL emergencies come up, so if something does come up day of the event then please PM me here or ingame @Miz Nibbles to give me a heads up. Otherwise we really hope that everyone is planning on being there! We have alot of influence and prizes to give away and feel the least that could be done is to at least make the effort of showing up for the announcement and to receive your prizes so we do not have to hunt you down.
I'd totally enter Juror except that he's no where near 50 and I'm not going to PL him for the contest.
The rest all have dark pasts even if only in my own mind and not put down into the bio yet.

You know I posted this event thinking this would be fun. And was truly looking forward to running this just like any other event I have ran for this server. I am a proud member of my SG as well as a proud member of PERC. And I work very hard to do stuff for this server and not be rude or insult others in posts that I make. (unless its playing with people i am very close to on this server, who know that i am being playful).
I must say its very hurtful to see my event thorn apart and misunderstood after working so hard with Dazz to put on this event. Him and I as well as our entire SG busted our rears to earn the money needed to put on an awesome event for this server and to celebrate our anniversary. But when people start taking my event thread and taking personal pot shots at each other it hurts my feelings and truly upsets me. I deal with CK regularly, as well as you Felecia. I have never been rude or insulting to anyone. And I feel it was very rude and I am VERY insulted that you felt the need to take my event thread and make it your personal page to insult other members of this server and other player event groups. That is all!
sorry my rant in the middle caused such a stir, i have the answer about the voting for someone else, so i am deleting all my other posts, the focus here should be on those who are Honourable! (trying to get back on topic).

3)This is a character concept contest! This is not a behind the mask contest. Last time I checked we do not run around in real life in tights and armor saving the world with our super hero powers. And I do understand that we get to know the people we play with and we feel they are honorable and worthy of the honor. But we are not doing that type of contest.

Since we understand it is possible not everyone reads the blue boards and some people are not inclined to normally enter contests such as these. You are more than welcome to do so.
