This one was just straight out fun. We went with what MB and Drogoh felt like doing since they seemed kinda antsy to beat stuff up. We skipped most of the TF to see if it was beatable. The towers fell like a house of cards this time around. See everyone next week.

Respec went easy of course.
As mentioned above, Alt's STF was a great success! The TF as a whole wasn't even a challenge at all this time. I kept LR away from the team with ease and we had [Bonfire] on our side to prevent the towers from being healed by the repairmen. I didn't even die, living up to Tabby's MoSTF badge title... which I was surprised about actually, because I didn't even take the usual precautions. I will attribute that to DrH's great healing abilities and a 3 second recharge on absorb pain. lol
I was hoping for the "i phail" award (lol), but Thor got it while trying to ghost to the tree. Drog soon followed while playing around with the tree.. thinking it wouldn't be able to hurt him. We LoL'd.
Nice job everybody. It was a fun, successful night once again!

Dang. Wish I'd been able to join you on the STF but I had some RL stuff to do and I had to get my new toon ready for next week. I'll have to jump on an MoSTF team sometime.
Also, MB was being nice by not saying I was the ONE death on the Respec run ... lol
Tarquin's team took about an hour longer than MB's team, but we were able to succeed despite losing a pick-up during the first mish. Breezed through the first three missions, then suffered a case of "Can't find the Security Chief" in the fourth mission.
Last mish took the longest, as we suffered numerous deaths against the first four AVs. Seemed like not many were familiar with E-Man's patented AV pull, so I brought everyone to the spot. We got Ghost Widow and Scirocco on the first pull, wiped and regrouped. We pulled GW again, got her to 50%, then Scir and Black Scorpion joined in. We stuck with GW, got her down, then had a bunch of wipes as finished the other 3 AVs.
Killed the Flyer twice before starting on Recluse. Since we were lacking an emp, I decided to drop a Warburg regeneration nuke, thinking it would help Max, especially while we took down the red tower. Thanks to two bonfires and our rad monitoring Max, we were able to take the the towers (although they did manage to heal 2-3 times each). After the towers, Recluse was easy peasy.
Even better, getting merit rewards from both the respec trial AND the task force. Nice!

It only got me after two lucky rolls, everything else was deflected. The most chance it ever had to hit me was 10% and then I just didn't pay attention to my HP. The only thing that actually ripped through my toon was GW's Soul Storm. I wasn't really paying a whole lot of attention to her anyway since I was focused on Squishy Killer aka Scirocco. Not bad for my first time running STF with a Scrapper, considering I usually run it with a Fire Blaster, Rad Defender or Stone Tanker.
Ya our team wiped a couple times we took about an hour longer and someone dropped, but I had a great time. Special mentions to Max Shields for tanking Recluse without an emp. Thanks everyone for coming along.
Thank you to everyone that showed up last night! We had six people signed up not show up, but we had 3 people decide to join us at the last minute. We had 3 teams: Joe with 7 people, MB with 7 people, and my team with 6 people.
My team was:

Xort: PB (Fantastic tanking!)
King Sac: Energy/Energy Blaster
Grimnor: Fire/MM Blaster
Archantos: Fire/Kin Controller
My team finished in 1:10:41 with 4 deaths.
I was of course first death, and I think 2 of the four deaths total. My first death occurred in one of the defeat alls, when I lept over a wall to land in the middle of a group of Rikti. I would have been okay, but I lagged right then, and was unable to pop off a heal before I took the alpha strike. Oh well!
The final 3 deaths occurred during the end of the reactor room. One of the final spawns took down 3 of us squishy's (myself, Grimnor, and someone else). Not really sure how it happened.
Thank you to everyone who came out! This concludes Round 1 of the Monday Night TF's! It's been nutty and a lot of fun, and I've really enjoyed seeing everyone every week.
Next week starts up Positron. I'll post the sign up sheet later today. It will only automatically include people who I spoke to last night that I know are coming. There are so many people in that other thread, that I think it might be best to let you all sign up "officially" for Positron, versus me assuming you are still interested/available.

And Joe, er Alt was being nice by not saying I was the ONE death on his team. Either an entire mob of Rikti shot me all at once, or an invisible bomb went off next to me. All I know is I was at full health one second and dead the next! Yay /Regen!

Before we started our static team runs, KS & I along with some current members of our static team used to run TFs every week. This one week we ran the Respec Trial (not sure which one), but we were moving through it & got to the hall, the usual warning about the bombs, etc - when KS spots one & blasts a bomb...just as our emp defender Doc Codis is walking by (this was prior to the one-shot code), so Doc goes down.
He rezzes, KS apologizes & we move on...
...but then King Sac proceeds to blast a another bomb...once again just as Doc Codis is walking by...so the good doctor again goes down...thanks to King Sac!
...and I won't let him forget it... (That's what friends are for!)

It's still a funny story to hear, no matter how many times Mr E-Man tells it.
I probably could have spared Doc Codis if I had just gone within blasting range of the proximity bombs. Instead, I hit my snipe, with the delay being long enough for Doc Codis to run up right next to each bomb. Oh well. Heh heh.
