It is the same as the Arena Channel. This is a "Fail" channel.
It was added in TOO late to be useful.
Need a MA channel? Use "Liberty's MA Channel".
Need a MA team? Go to Atlas or Cap Au Diable and shout for a team like everyone else in local and broadcast.
You won't be able to stop people from using the new MA channel incorrectly because the pointless channel is pointless.
It's empty most of the time on most servers.
And it isn't automatically added into your chat window so most people won't even know it exists anyway.
I love how devs add things in too late to work. It's like they don't think, but then again they are humans so I guess it's alright for mistakes to be made.

Well, Help is pretty self-explanatory, and it's been stated {somewhere...} that it's for gameplay assistance. Furthermore, using it as a general channel would defeat its purpose, as requests for gameplay help would get drowned out by general chatter.
Quick question - is there any official word on what its purpose is, specifically? I'm considering pushing for its use as a general teaming channel {thus avoiding the limitations of global channels}, but I'd like to make sure it doesn't go against its intended role.
