Issue 16 made me feel like this.
Warning: This poster likes to play Devil's Advocate.
It's hard to place back items correctly due to the sizing of player bodies. They would need to literally create a different jacket skin with the emblem on it for each chest detail as the technology currently stands.
Otherwise it would clip with the clothes while you attack or move, hover several inches off the back of smaller people, and be inside people at the upper end of the height slider.

Forgive me if I sound horribly ignorant...But how exactly is putting an emblem on the front of a character any differant than putting one on the back? It seems to me like back emblems wouldn't be nearly as difficult as you say...

Yes, it is that difficult. If it wasn't, don't you think we'd have this feature (which we have in fact been asking for for.... um... like 4.5 years)?

If we're asking for the annoying to difficult already, how about a SG icon made from little metal studs? ...would that work in the regular position as well, or would that only make sense on the back of a jacket?
