is it possible to get the story for a tf?

Being partially new to this game (and partially due to having alt-itis and no high level toons), I did my second TF last night.

What I was wondering is this: Is it possible for someone who isn't the team leader to get the story for a taskforce? Short of the leader explaining what is happening, if I was into the stories up to this point, it would be immersion breaking. I just though maybe I missed something.

Just read the souvenir when you're done. Or you can go to: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Main_Page

You can look up the story for every task force on that site.

Characters:

go here: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Task_Forces

it list all task forces, trials and sfs in the game. as well as the contact who provides it, location of contact, number of players to start and yes, the whole story line too and backstory.

this site is the cox bible

you can get your story bearings while another leads a task force by looking at the mission text present during the active mission and the clues text.

another way to get the same text experience of the leader is paragon wiki to give you a complete view of the story as it is given to the leader by the contact, as well as some supporting information.

You can also click the little "i" in the starburst on the navigation bar to see the mission-acceptance text.

But the best way is to just ask the team leader to please copy/paste the text into team chat .

Every mission:

"You need to go fight some guys - thanks for fighting some guys".

I know this from playing AE arcs.

You could ask the leader to give you the gist of what's going on. But honestly, you're better off looking up Paragonwiki after it's all over to see what the heck went down.

Kinda like with movies, I usually visit the Wiki after seeing them to clarify what the hell went down.

Not every mission. Some missions are "go tell some guy that you fight those guys, then go fight the guys the guy you tell tells you to fight."
