A***oles are here to stay unfortuntaly. Fact is, everyone is an A***ole every one in while.

When it comes to random strangers, I only really give a rat's [censored] if you act like an utter moron, or if you specifically try to offend me. And even then, I'm not generally offended by most things.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that making acceptance a priority, to me, is just as bad as not being accepting at all. If you have to think about it, you're doing it wrong.

Extremely aware of this. It's sort of why it doesn't belong here maybe? Have to deal with it enough in real life without dragging it in here too, into the escape.

To the OP I am very sorry for your loss.

I understand it was posted as a first person account in rebuttal to the thread already linked, a thread where I already said my piece on the subject. But I am ambivalent regarding the appropriateness of this thread in this forum due to a similar line of thinking as Aisynia has already expressed. I suppose that is a question ultimately left to the moderators judgment.

In any case, again so deeply sorry for the loss you and all her friends and family have suffered.

I too would like to extend my condolences to you Freem, as events such as you relate should never happen to any human being.

I think the story makes a strong point on it's own, and further continuance of this topic will only lead to some very negative discussion so I'll lock it.
