Sliding power?
It's the prestige power slide from COH's collectors edition. If you can still find a box (check best buy) and add it to your account, you get that and the Cape of Four Winds.
I believe it was a perk from the dvd collectors edition that came out about 4 years ago or so.
"Big Lots!" is you best bet for finding a copy of the DVD Collector's Edition.

That's where I found mine -- for $10! But I was a little disappointed to learn that the "in game item" -- the Cot4W, you can't get until you hit lvl 20. Which means that to get it, not only do you have to wait until you get to 20, but then you *have* to go to a tailor and pay (in-game) for it.

NCSoft, Please reconsider your decision to close down CoH. It has an extremely loyal following and enjoys a great amount of free support from the larger community.
I invite everybody to add the above image to your signature as a petition to reverse NCSoft's decision.

That's how it works. That's how special capes used to work. The CoH Collector's and the CoV Collector's capes both require level 20 and a tailor fee (or tailor token) to use.

Being able to access/unlock subcategories of capes was added long after the Collector's Edition. Back when the Prestige Power Slide was still fairly new and common it was often called the "noob scooter".

The funny thing is that for a few months before the pack (and Slide power) was added to the game i had a flying blaster who would frequently use the power slide animation for several seconds when moving after entering a zone by train with Fly toggled on. It was just the pose without the glow effect, so it sort of looked like she was riding an invisible surfboard out of the tram station.
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
I can't figure out what power this is. I've seen a few toons on CoV with it. They slide around as if on ice and they have a pinkish glow at their feet. Is this a temp power?
