Thanks in advance for your replies.

My first question is how bad are Crab in PvP?

My second concerns power choice:

I have four powers left to choose from, these are the ones I'm juggling:

Combat Training Defense
Combat Training Offense
Tactical Training Maneuvers
Tactical Training Leadership
Call Reinforcements
Summon Spiderlings

I feel his powers thus far give him a nice team/solo build, not sure about PvP but doesn't look too promising. I don't care so much about the PvP but am really interested in how the above powers compare overall to each other.

Thanks again!

I have no idea on pvp; I'd guess not great. Anyway for pve I'd go with TT:L, TT:M and one of the summons if you like pets.

Spines/ D A lvl 50 Scrap, stone/wm lvl 50 tank, Kat/reg lvl 50 Scrap
Grav/Kin lvl 50 Cont, Fire/Enegry lvl 50 Blast
Warshade lvl 50, PB lvl 39, nightwidow lvl 50, crab lvl 42
plant/thorns lvl 50 dom, ice/fire lvl 40 dom, grav/nrg lvl 41 dom

No clue about PvP.

Of those power choices make TT: Maneuvers your number one priority. I'd say it's the most important power from the Crab's secondary (with Crab Armor Upgrade + Fortification coming in second, for that invaluable mez protection).

After that I'd get Combat Training Defensive, then probably TT: Leadership and one of the pets (Spiderlings for continual lower dps, Call Reinforcements for a bigger dps boost for hard targets). Or skip TT:L and just get both pets, I dunno.

Combat Training: Defensive and Tactical Training: Manuevers shouldn't be among your last four power choices. Their stacking Defense buffs greatly enhance your survivability. Consensus is that they should be taken as soon as they become of available.

As for the other powers, Combat Training: Offensive isn't really worth it. Tactical Training: Leadership is a much better choice because it provides +toHit as opposed to +Accuracy and applies to both you and any team mates. I'm a huge fan of pets so I'd definately recommend Call Reinforcements and Summon Spiderlings. They add a considerable amount of damage and can hold aggro for you while you lay down some AoE goodness.

Thanks!

I have found the crab thus far to be ridiculously easy, so survivability wasn't so much of an issue. The pets sound good, but I'm still tossing and turning between the toggles or not.
