Driver and Black Screen
Go back to Driver 185.85. 186.18 isn't working for a lot of people, me included.

[/ QUOTE ] To clarify, it might only be affecting Windows 7 users. So far, everybody I've seen having the black screen with 186.18 has had Win7. I have 186.18 on XP and it works just fine. I'm not sure about Vista. Some people say it works fine, but others have the black screen also.
In either case, going back to 185.85 should work for the OP anyway.
I have both Windows 7 and Vista SVC Pack 2 .... (both 32 bit) and both get the black screen when loading CoX using the 186.18 drivers. I uninstalled the new drivers via the CNTRL Panel in Windows 7 ... rebooted and it reverts to 185.5 drivers (so can play CoX fine) ... left the new drivers on my Vista drive because I usually like playing CoX on Win 7 because it uses much less resources than Vista. (FYI - I can play Prototype and Left for Dead fine on Vista with the 186.18 drivers)
Well I had the issues on 7. When I reverted, everything got fixed. So.
I've got Vista 64 bit.
I've reverted back to the 185 one and everything is back to being the same.

I just updated to the new NVidia driver: 186.18
Uninstalled the old, restarted, installed the new, restarted, easy.
Clicked on CoX and bam, black screen.
I don't know if I got to the log inscreen since I don't play with the sound past 0 and 0.
What should I do?
