i had an idea, and im sure it'll get bashed or what ever but it doesnt really bother me, what if they had a level minimum or something for the MA

like level 20
or that they need a 50 first (though this is a little extreme)

so people have to go out and experience the game before they decide that all they have to do is the AE

i think this idea would bring some people back to the arenas

because no one really uses them now that the MA is in place, they are all at the AE

please let me know what you think

It's already been stated by the devs at least once(probably more) that you can level from 1-50 in AE.

[/ QUOTE ] I also think that is a poor reason. If you want more people to play in the Arena, then I think you should come up with a suggestion to make it more enjoyable for people.

Um... nobody used the arenas *before* MA, generally. Other than for a day job badge (and to get Lanista for the villside accolade.)

And no, I don't think there should be a level limit.

No one used the Arenas already in most servers...

I would say I'd like a slightly more restricted entrance to the MA as well, though I'd base it less on having a 50 or an arbitrary level, more on actual time playing the game itself.

.... Oooh.

Maybe there should be an accolade for having done tutorials - completing the outbreak/breakout tutorial, then the Inventions one, and perhaps adding something else for the MA itself, and ONLY THEN can you start up working in the ma? It might be an account-wide accolade, though, since it'd kinda suck to have to earn it each time. But playing through them would give even a slight nod to "learning the game" and being able to play outside the MA.

Arena and PVP matches are best organized here or on supergroup websites, really, it just seems like there's not a good way to actually ORGANIZE an arena match on the fly.

I'm sure that there will be changes and progress as time goes on though.

Frankly, the idea of restricting MA to people who've done a certain batch of missions/events would be unnecessarily complicating things.

Frankly, we need to open up the playerbase. Everybody's getting insular and isolated within their circles, and then there are the AE Farms snatching up all the new players or the fed up players who just want to cram their characters to 50 ASAP. Sure, getting to 50 isn't the goal of the game, but for a lot of these players, that's where they BEGIN.

*shudder*

It hurts to play Devil's Advocate on that issue, because I haven't really ventured into the AE since the third week after I-14. I've been preferring the normal arcs and the rewards to be gleaned there.

Augh! I've started getting involved in Suggestion debates again!

Oh man... This is when the hurting starts...

Everyone has ideas on MA,and most of them have merit, but what you should really do is keep commenting on the freaking Glitches in I14
