Fire/Ment?
Awesome powers that you'll probably want to get:
-Psychic Shockwave
-Fireball
-Fire Blast
-Mind Probe
-Psychic Scream
-Blaze
-Drain Psyche
Kind of a long list, eh?
Scare, Telekinetic Thrust, Fire Bolt, and Fire Breath aren't really useful. Scare isn't strong enough and has too long of a recharge. Fire Bolt is a decent snipe, but you deal much more damage with close range attacks. Fire Breath has a long animation, short range, and a big endurance cost. Telekinetic Thrust doesn't do any damage.
All the other powers are pretty-much fair game. Aim, Concentration, World of Confusion, etc.

Fire Breath's main advantage is being a pretty decent low-level AoE that combines with Psychic Scream and Fireball to let you output quite solid AoE combo damage earlier than most blasters can. Even if it's not in your final build, it's worth mentioning for the road there.
This might just open a can of worms, but I was under the impression that World of Confusion was kinda not-so-helpful. As in you have to slot for confuse duration, and it only works on Minions.

This. For lowish level aoe this is about as good as it gets. And it is pretty good.
My 39 Fire/Mental still uses Firebreath. Start with Scream, the breath then fireball for AoE goodness.
Yeah...I really want "World of Confusion" to be good....it's low end use is the reason I still use it. It "can't hurt" mentallity comes into play. Meh...

Fire Breath is bad!? Since when? A Fire/Mental's combination goes as follows Build up > Aim > Fire Breath > Psychic Scream > Fire Ball and everything minus bosses are dead. Never ever pass up Fire Breath unless you're going to go do PvP.

I'm not really too sure about the combo. It seems kinda cool, like a pyrokinetic combo, but I'm not too sure on what should and shouldn't be taken from both sets. Any suggestions?
