Kin/Elec
think of repel as the opposite of fulcrum shift, no mobs near u you do [censored] damage, on top of that repel is also the oppositie of transference, as its the quickest way to drain ur end. so never take repel.
voltaic sentinel isnt really necessary. i'd consider taking thunderstrike since it does pretty good defender damage and its aoe, so its fueled from ur fulcrum shift nicely.
and things arent really going to get hairy because just about every mob in game aside from avs/gm/players will be completely outta endurance after 2 of your attacks.
i have a lvl 50 kin/elec built for pvp so my opinons may be skewed.
Honestly, given those two choices, I might take Repel. Sure, its usefulness in a serious situation is pretty limited, but Repel is just a fun power. Bowling for Skulls in Perez Park is almost endlessly entertaining. Even when fighting real mobs it's sometimes fun to just throw things around a little.
I don't know. My Kin/Electric has VS, but I don't like it. I've thought about respecing out of it, but there isn't really anything else I want to take.
For me, when given the choice between a fun power I'll never get real use out of, or an un-fun power I can use all the time but doesn't do much of anything, I would take the fun power.
Bye, everybody!

Go VS, Repel is counterproductive to a Kin/Elec's strengths. VS is a bit annoying to use, but it does alright with low slotting (1Acc, 2 Dam IOs does the trick). It does damage even when your held or the like, which can be a bacon saver, plus its decent for AV fights when your busy using your Kin powers and have little time for blasting.
My Kin/Elec is approaching lvl 49 and I don't know whether I should get Voltaic Sentinel or Repel. I've taken every other power that I have wanted (and didn't really need) so these two powers are the only two options left. Does FS affect Voltaic Sentinel's damage? Is the extra damage that Voltaic Sentinel dishes out worth it, or is it just an (unwanted) aggro magnet.
I'm almost always right there next to the tank fighting without getting a scratch but if things ever went wrong for me or for another squishy, I could see how repel would be useful (although if things started going wrong, I would just fly away). Any thoughts?
