bring the old PVP back

Dev's you really need to bring the old PVP back, the current nerfed PVP is total garbage.
People who are new to the game don't know the difference but thats besides the point.

Defenders arent defenders anymore, have low damage and get squashed, Controllers dont "CONTROL" anymore all they have are a hold or immob that lasts a few secs & does minimal damage.
Other classes that have Hold, stun, immobilize ect.. resist's are useless now!
Healers, you don't see healers in PVP anymore because of heal decay.
I refuse to play your GARBAGE PVP anymore!

This is what your new changes have caused in RV!

1) all you see are corruptors and stalkers, "WHY?" because you gave them the heroes HIBERNATE!
3) All they do now is attack a few time Hibernate, then phaseshift, then run away!

What kind of garbage pvp system is this???????????????

There is a easier way to balance pvp.

1) Take away inspirations in pvp!
2) Dont allow phaseshift in pvp! or give phaseshift / or any type of crafted phaseshift a global daily use limit say 3 times total for any type of phaseshift used for the day.

I REFUSE TO PLAY YOUR GARBAGE PVP SYSTEM ANYMORE!
I'LL STICK TO PVE UNTIL THIS IS FIXED.

I'M TOTALLY SHOCKED YOU DIDNT LOSE HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF THIS RETARDED CHANGE!

Well first of all, both ATs are squishy and hero side simply has most burst damage in game (see blasters). Should i remind you on emp+blaster combos in the past? We knew what happend before, corrs would come, get farmed and stalkers would do their thing except running with phase and not hiber. The reason you see only corrs and stalkers here is not because of phase like powers alone but rather travel supression. You can't escape spike anymore really so only what left is phase or hiber or both. I think travel supression is rather bad for melee ATs now but it is just my opinion.

this sounds like fight club rules...i am sorry to tell you but not everyone got great defense, resistance and enormous amount of HP (not to mention dmg nowdays) like tanks. I am pretty sure that if corr gets attacked by 2 and tank gets attacked by 2 the tanker has much better chance to get away or actually kill the attackers. Inspirations are made to be used, same with phase, besides devs already allowed you to attack phased player, go get warburg temp and stop complaining. This both things were used since pvp was introduced, would be time to get used to it no?

On last note, i sure don't like new pvp at all, some changes weren't bad but whole system was just bad implemented. And i agree i would rather roll back to old pvp but since it won't happen maybe we should work on fixing what we have atm.

I understand the frustration. My main PvP characters were / are my Mind Control / Kinetic Controller and my Mind Control / Psychic Assault Dominator. Now it seems all my varieties of Holds, etc are reduced to a base Hold time of 4 seconds. I have to tell you, I'm having some trouble keeping my opponents still long enough for my meager damage to take them out. When I hit someone, they rarely freeze in pain like they used to. I have no time to monologue etc. It's a deplorable situation. The Break-free pill was bad enough. Now it's hardly needed since Holds are so nerfed.

Also, I have not the time or inclination to research and nitpick all the Invention Origin enhancement options. I have no interest in Farming either so paying for the Invention Enhancements is prohibitively expensive.

I'm a casual PvP'r. I enjoy playing versus other players but I am clearly at a disadvantage as a casual PvP'r. I believe that until things change again casual pvp'rs will stay away.

Need I even mention what was done to Telekinesis which is now completely worthless in PvP? It's like a power choice as been completely eliminated from my Primary Powers options. I have respecc'd it out of all my Mind characters builds.

I do NOT care for the current PvP setup. I still go in the PvP zones to make my opponents feel all mighty in how easy they kill me in 2 or 3 hits after my Holds have no effect on them though, as I'm a good sport. I used to occasionally feel mighty myself and would welcome that feeling again.

I have to agree they kind of destroyed PVP for me as well. I spent ages working on my elec/stone brute. I know that i only had a small chance of killing some people in pvp due to my armour debluffs and my weak attack which were for group attackers. But to remove all the positives that rooted and granite gave and to only leave the negetives is stupid. MY meatsheild of a char went from being able to handle 5 heros for a while to being killed in a second by the worst of the worst pvp players in the game and to make thing worse i found lvl 36 peacebringers (outside of pvp) that have the same res lvl as my lvl 50 brute in pvp what is with that. I went from a meat sheild to a meat sheild fro my team to a person traped inside a stone prison waiting to be killed. PVP was fine before the only positive thing i saw was the taunts and the phase changes but everything else destroyed my pvp interest. I ended up building a stone with no rooted and no granite for pvp which completely destroys the purpose of a stone armoured brute. Please fix your biggest mistake yet. Or at least make a double pvp zone where you can choose the old rules or the new crappy rules

or..............roll a new toon that you will be able to enjoy. TBH i do not remember stone/ or /stone tanks/brutes being all that good out side of base raids for PvP.
