i want more sets with targeted aoe buffs and heals

Downside(because there has to be one): Any set based around ally-targeted AoE buffs and heals would be fairly weak in the actual effect of them to balance the fact that you would be affecting many targets at once. You won't be seeing an AoE with the strength of Fortitude or Adrenaline Boost.
Kind of like how AM is not as potent as Speed Boost, but has a damage bonus component in it, and a long recharge. And the pair or RAs does less together than one Adrenaline Boost.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the idea, just pointing out the downside of a set like that.

if they were just regular buffs in an aoe format, they wouldn't be very novel at all! i suppose i'm specifically asking for more reactionary ally-targeted powers so the topic title is a bit misleading but i think ally targeted aoes are sort of an unexplored frontier and the developers could make all sorts of crazy things, like an aoe build up or a version of the old ff repulsion bomb that knocks enemies away from every ally in a targeted radius

Check out Lady_Jade's Power Suggestion box. Look at other powersets that people have created, and the detail that has gone into them.
Than, create a set of nine powers that you'd like to see, and present it to us.
Also, is that avatar really needed?

Because that wouldn't quickly become a contender for most annoying power in the game? They changed that power for a reason. I don't know anyone who ever even had it before they did.
I get what you're saying, but you're being a little vague. Give us a more concrete idea of what kind of set you want to see and we can give a more informed opinion.
"targeted AoE buffs and heals" could cover such a WIDE range of effects that there is no way anyone can even make a guess as to how good or bad a set may be. More explanation would be nice.

I did, and it was terrible.
But yes, I agree with everyone else. Just saying you "want" something without a concrete idea of what powerset would grant it is very vague.
Come up with a theme (special effect) and a powerset idea (complete with all 9 powers) that would make this idea plausible; and the devs will consider it the same way they do any other powerset request.
I think, for instance:
Thermal has +RES buffs for allies that you have to cast one at a time.
Pain has a +RES buff for allies that applies to the whole party with one click.
Significant differences:
* Thermal shields offer more RES; WoP offers a small +ToHit bonus
* Thermal shields are always available; WoP has a long recharge
* Shields need only RES; WoP needs a lot of recharge
* Shields are individual cast; WoP could hit an entire raid with pets
It's kind of like FF shields versus Dispersion. Shields are portable but Dispersion is just convenient and doesn't waste any time re-casting.
AoE buffs for things like shields would be nice. Often times, having to reapply buffs is a pain, especially when the duration is short or the team is large. And it's almost always inconvenient to try and buff pets.

if a set were made solely around crazy ally-targeted aoes i would be very happy
