Can't sell combined enhancements?

Combined enhancements can't be sold because they're a relatively small number of the enhancements out there, and allowing the market to accept them would triple the size of the market database. (Well, the enhancement portion, at least)
IIRC, We used to be able to sell them, but the market stripped them of their plusses when they were listed. People didn't like this, so I guess preventing people from listing them was the other option.

This is what I thought was the case currently. Why on earth did they remove it?
It's counter intuitive. If players were annoyed they were getting less than they should have been, then surely not letting them get anything at all is the worst possible solution?
It is better to have sold and to have lost then to have never had sold at all...
OK, look at it this way:
-You get three level 50 Cytos.
-You combine them into a level 50++.
-You put it on the Market.
-It becomes a level 50, losing its ++.
-You realize that you just deleted two Hami-Os.

Oh I understand. But look at it this way:
-You get three level 50 Cytos.
-You combine them into a level 50++.
-You put it on the Market.
-It becomes a level 50, losing ~60% market value
-You get three level 50 Cytos.
-You combine them into a level 50++.
-You can't sell them on the market.
-It remains in your inventory, losing 100% market value.
I would rather be given the option of selling for that 40% with a warning that doing so will knock the enhancement to level 50. More options is always a good thing.

They were already deleted when you consented to combine them. Now the market is telling me not only would i make a loss of 60% is I was able to sell them, but that I cannot in fact even make this loss. It makes the HO worthless. And thus making the statement you are suggesting more along the lines of:

With + and double+ Special Enhancements, your best option tends to be posting on your home forum (in this case Virtue 
) and asking there for a person-to-person sale. If anyone in the Market forums is interested, they'll see this thread here and hopefully head there to post.

OK, I might be about to learn something new here, but are you guys saying that you can combine TO/DO/SO enhancements without slotting them first? I was under the impression that the only way you could combine enhancements was to either have two of them slotted and use the combine feature, or have one slotted and stack the other one on top of it.

People unslot them during a respec.

Oh, duh. I knew you could unslot enhancements during a respec, but I forgot that you could save ten of them in your tray rather than just cashing them in.

Why on earth can't you sell combined enhancements?
I have ~60 50+ enhancements i just respecced out of a character only to find I can' even sell them. Rubbish.
Anyone looking to buy some Membrane/Nuc's?
