Old McDonald had MANY of them. Why can't we?

Old McDonald had LOTS of animals where he lived. A chick-chick here, an oink-oink there ... but all we get from the critter creator is the chance to make werewolves, lizards, and a thalidimide rabbit.

(HA! Bet you thought this was going to be the one millionth farming thread! Gothca! )

Wouldn't it be great if we had more of a selection of animals to choose from? So we could make Pig-faced aliens! Or Roman warriors with Snake heads?

I did a fairly good job with my White Rabbit in "Wicked, Wicked Wonderland" (#1224) ... but I had to give up my original idea to create the drunken doormouse to go with the Mad Hatter, because he just didn't turn out right.

I want more animal options! Anyone else with me?

Would be nice, but I recall it said before that animals would require a lot of custom animations, which I imagine can be a lot of work for something that may not be used that much once the newness wears off.

Also, everything in the game (few exceptions) have to have a ranged attack. Wouldn't really fit the game theme to hunt deer, let alone ones that shoot back at you.

There are some animals they can use with the current animations, like monkeys and gorillas, but to do something like a dog would take some custom work.

I wonder if such a thing could be bought from another company cheaply. I was thinking of Vampire: the Masquerade: Redemption, which has dogs and wolves in it.

Actually, it sounds like he isn't asking for animal skeletons, but more animal body parts.

Snake heads, better canine heads, feline heads, instead of just faces, bushy tails, feet with paws, that kind of thing.

In which case....

This is my hope for the Mutant Booster Pack. I'd love to be able to make decent looking anthropomorphic animals (it's what I get for growing up in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle / Usagi Yojimbo era).

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)

Deer with frickin' LASERS!

Seriously, though, is there any other MMO that is this lacking in animal and monster type creatures?

We got spiders and... uhm. Well, we got spiders.

Could get a lot of mileage out of some sort of dog/wolf model, at least.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. And I think your idea of a Mutant Booster Pack rocks!

As it isn't really an exclusivly MA related request, this suggestion should probably find its way over to Jay's Costume Suggestions over in the Developer's Corner (If it gets into our creator, it will be available for the Custom Critters, too ). Jay has vowed that he will only add things to the costume creator that have been posted in that thread.

I'm pretty sure that animal parts have come up there before, but I don't see the harm in adding another request for them into the thread.

Oh!

Well, here's a wish list to add to that:

New Body Type: Monstorous, as large as the Huge size but using a hunched-over Monkey frame

New Heads: Robotic lens

New Chest: Robotic (moving machine parts to slender to be a Man-In-Suit)

Lower Body: Tank treads

Back/Wings: Shark Fin

Not only would I love to see more of these options, I would love to see more options for them.

I have a toon named Rattus Rex who looks like a rat (it's that one 'monstrous' head, can't recall the number off hand), except for his ears, I had to go with big floppy laid back ears and pretend he's a "dumbo rat". So then some time back they announce the new ear options and I was thrilled - then I found out they don't work for the 'monstrous' heads.

They should have, darn it! I want my rat to look like a rat! Or have horns and be a jackalope! Or whatever else I can come with...
