That would be nice ... I never saw the pic but it would be nice to be able to do.
Of course I'd like TP units to have a LED banner scrolling the destinations of the attached beacons but I'm just greedy that way. 
Set a Cubicle where you want the beacon to be - remember that it can actually overlay the teleporter itself because you will be selling it. Stack it on a Floor Safe if you need more height.
Place the beacon on the appropriate wall of the Cubicle.
Then sell the Cubicle back.
You can float wall items all over the place using this method. I used it to float a wall SG banner in a doorway as a screen.

I use wall lamps...the large Hoji? ones. just place at the height you want and build out toward where you want to place it. The new wall of lamps is now a wall that you can hang stuff on. I can actually take pics to show and post if anyone would like to see it in progress. Heres some photos of mine... The telepad rooms.
Using the Cubicle works like a charm for this. Just follow Ad_Astra's insrtuctions.

I saw a pic once of the beacons being placed on the legs of the teleporters and would like to do that with my base, I can't find the post anywhere and I ahve no idea how to do this. Does anyone know? I can't seem to find anything that the beacons "stack" on to push them away from the wall. Any help would be appreciated.
