Yeah, but the preposition thing isn't a hard and fast rule. Neither is not starting a sentence with a conjunction.

Which brings to mind something Churchill said. Supposedly an editor had clumsily rearranged one of Churchills sentences to avoid ending it in a preposition, and the Prime Minister, very proud of his style, scribbled this note in reply: This is the sort of English up with which I will not put.

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
You'd have to have big brass ones to edit Churchill.
