No, sort of, yes.
It will check ONCE when you initially fire off the power and can only affect you.
Caltrops: Do the procs have a chance to fire every 10 seconds, or does it have a chance to proc when placed and if it does so the damage will occur every 10 seconds?
See above reply. Same situation applies - you only trigger the power ONCE. The only time it gets to check repeatedly is when the power is being used continually FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW - i.e. a toggle or auto power.

Poison Trap: How do procs work with this one's gas area? Do enemies in the area have a chance of taking the proc, does the chance of proc occur at placement and will occur every 10 seconds if it does, or will it only proc on the innitial release of the gas?
Not familiar with this power. Is it a click power? If so, there is ONE chance of a proc firing.
Will auras pass thier proc on to people within the aura? For example, will Tactics with Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control: (5%)Chance for Build Up give only me that chance, or each ally being affected by the aura?
You only. However, since this *IS* a toggle, it will check every 10 seconds as long as the power is running.

Triage Beacon: proc would affect you for 120 seconds when placing the beacon.
Caltrops: Chance to fire on placement and every 10 seconds after.
Acid Mortar: Yes, chance to proc with each shot it makes.
Poison Trap: Checks for proc separately on each target in the gas every 10 seconds.
Auras: Build Up in Tactics will be on you, checking every 10 seconds for a proc.
Perhaps someone else can confirm for powers like those in Kinetics that heal and give endurance from a hit on a target; will +End procs, or neg. energy damage and + End procs from Accurate healing sets, affect friendlies?
You can check for procs in things like acid mortar by watching the "Pet Damage Inflicted" chat channel. It appears as "Bonus" damage.
Similarly, procs in pets and pet-like powers would be on their respective Pet channel, like "Chance for Recharge Slow" in Dark Servant or Tar Patch would be in "Pet Healing Received" chat channel.
Chance for Build Up is under "Healing Received".

Wrong.
Any "Rain" - Rain of Fire, Caltrops, etc, will proc once when first cast and then once every ten seconds thereafter - it checks individually against each target.
Acid Mortar would have a chance to proc each time it fires. Otherwise it would not be worth slotting procs into henchmen - it's the same thing. Anytime a pet uses a power when slotted with a proc from an appropriate set, it has a chance to go off (so a power that does -DEF could trigger any -DEF set procs slotted into the pet). Acid Mortar is a pet with one single attack - so each attack it does has a chance to trigger any slotted procs.
Should work similar with the gas trap, as it fires attacks that are "rains".
Ironblade is right on the triage beacon question, because it grants it to you, not to the beacon.
Special IOs that affect the powers target vs. the power's user usually say "grants the target X" vs. "Grants X" - the latter is almost always just to the caster.

Both of these are easy to check watching combat logs. Caltrops (and Tar Patch for another example) will check for proc every 10 seconds, as well as when they are placed.
Similarly, if you watch the chat logs for Acid Mortar it will show bonus Negative energy damage well after it's been placed.

[/ QUOTE ]I know the performance shifter +end proc affects the powers TARGET. So the heal, for example, would cause your enemy to gain end (as the power itself doesn't target your allyies, the pet the power drops to do the heal targets your allies.

Thanks, I was remembering a bug when Accurate healing sets came out where allies received the negative energy damage from someone using Touch of the Nictus in Twilight Grasp, so was wondering if other procs might similarly "pass the proc".
Of course, Twilight Grasp doesn't spawn a pet though.

Not sure about Triage but you REALLY don't want to put Numina unique there. Put it in your health, please. Even if it procs once in 10s (which I doubt), the effect is sitll not good.
Poison Trap's proc happens once every 10s now..I think. The puking effect has been nerfed to !@#$#. I can't recall the last time I saw somebody puke after the initial burst. I can understand the proc damage nerf but they also nerf the puking effect which I think it's totally uncalled for. It's not like /Trap is the best secondary. I mean I used to bring my Ice/Trap to pvp and occassionally I scored a win when puking effect happened but that's if the person stayed within the radius. Poor trap....
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

The extra puking was a side effect of the fact it used to spawn extra copies of itself - which it no longer does.

Oops. Never played that set so I was thinking 'click power' about the Acid Mortar when I should have been thinking 'pet' like the Gun Drone (or the pets that actually look like pets).
