My highest level villain is a bots/storm. He's a former Crey robotics engineer who worked on a highly sensitive project. In order to keep the project secret Crey eliminated all the members. Rather than waste such a valuable resource by killing them, they kidnapped them and used them as test subjects.
My character gained storm powers as a result of these experiments. Of course he escaped, but then ran into some heroes and had a "misunderstanding" involving a few tornadoes and lightning storms, and ended up in the Zig. Now he's out and combining his new found abilities with his old skills.
My Bots/Dark was a Crey prototype (it's always Crey, isn't it?) designed to be a Nanobot dispersion and management system with heavy mech support. Of course, the AI goes nasty, and she went rogue.
So her "Dark" powers are nanoswarms, not Netherworldly energies. I still pay homage to the dark side, tho. Her name is Lu-C4 (Project Lucid, Stage C, Mark 4) and all her minions have techy demon names (BLZ-bub, Asmo-DS, etc)
Bots/Dark is an AoE beast, and very easy to manage. You can chew through 12 baddies as fast as 2, so you might as well team for the fat spawns. An AoE heal, a pet that AoE heals, bots that heal, and MASSIVE ToHit debuffs (about 75% between Darkest Night and Fluffy, slotted) means never having to say you're sorry.

My Bots/Dark, Dark Mechanix is from a universe that was consumed by The Darkness That Eats All Things. One of the unfortunates who lived, like all life in it's universe it is only an extension of the Darkness, left with only enough individuality to suffer. A drone with drones of its own, it has been sent to our world to sow dissension to make our forthcoming consumption easier.
My Bots/Storm Doctor Tempest is a straightforward mad scientist with weather control technology.
My Bots/Pain is an sadistic scientist who uses nanite swarms for healing, and cyborg drones for fighting. He uses cyborgs with human brains for the simple reason that a pure machine doesn't HURT. He especially enjoying kidnapping the friends and family of heroes, extracting their brains for use in his cyborgs and then telling the heroes later whose brain was in the machine they smashed.

My bots/dark, iMaid, isn't evil - she's a robot that wasn't built with a sense of ethics (given that she was never going to leave the house she was created in in the first place), but her experiences in the real world have changed her to the point that she'll probably Go Rogue come the next issue.
She was created by a Star Wars geek in his basement in Cinci because he needed someone to look cute and clean his house. So he built a robot and cobbled together parts of his old stormtrooper cosplay armor (repainting as needed of course) and dressed her in a sexy maid outfit he got off EBay.
Unfortunately in this house, the dustbunnies iMaid had been created to clean had been there so long they'd gained sentience. The aforementioned bunnies got into iMaid and started driving her around like a car. Thanks to living in a geek house, they'd been exposed to way too much maid anime, and had very...skewed perceptions of the world outside.
So they busted iMaid out, and headed off into the world for fun and adventure - which usually involved blowing things up/killing people - and earned money for repairs and upgrades.

My Bots/Dark was a scientist who created artificial intelligence robots in an effort to help mankind when the robots turned on him. They put cybernetic implants into his brain that allowed them to control his actions. From there they went on to force him into occult research to expand both his and their power. (fluffy as the pure evil of the combined robot personalities).
It is a bit long and complex in that my mastermind is actually controlled by the pets, not the other way around, but I like it. Even then it's not really they control me... it's like a giant collective of evil. 
My Bot/Dark MM was a Council scientist working on an old 5th column techno-magical device which ended up exploding in the lab, and dumping its dark energy into her and her sister (who is a Bot/Storm MM). It ended up crippling her and killed her sister, who she was able to revive (after a fashion) with her new powers, and teleport them away from the wreckage of the lab. They retreated to the rogue isles and set up shop, trying to recover, and built their robotic army in case the Council came after them. Both of them are scarred, and have several cybernetic/robotic parts.

Hey all, thinking of making another Mastermind. I've decided on a Robotics primary, but I am lost on what to pick as a secondary. The catch is, I'm a very concept-oriented player, so having a good concept is dire.
I've been thinking either Bots/Dark, Bots/Storm, or Bots/Pain (Traps, TA, and FF, the logical choices for concept, are out).
What I want to know is, for all you Bots/Dark-Storm-Pain Masterminds out there, what kind of concept did you create for your character? I already have a name - Vyriss.
P.S. If it's possible to upload pictures, I could show the costume.
