Yes, there are 4 Orbs you have to simultaneously click in Faathim's TF as well. Sometimes they are close together and one person is able click two at once, but it's safer to assume you wont be that lucky and it's better to keep at least 4 people on the team. lol
Besides the Shard, there is also the Hollows Cavern Trial that requires 8 simultaneous clicks as well.

Justin Augustine is particularly easy to solo as it doesn't even have an AV to fight (though there are EBs).
Sara Moore may give you a bit more trouble, as Ruladak can be a challenging AV, but still potentially soloable.
