The usual recommendation's the Dauntless Reverie, but I can't actually tell you if they're recruiting right now. Gimme a few to find the relevant post.

Well, we have a VG, and it's sort of Midnighter-based. Or at least Midnighter-affiliated. We do RP but, as a chunk of the population is European, are somewhat lacking in pie.

Are you looking for a vg to join, rp with (possibly for a specific plot), coalition with, or something else?
Currently I'm part of a fairly small, mystically-tilted VG named Fallen Legacy that among other things does 'paranormal consulting' work, often involving ghosts, artifacts, demons and/or general magic run amok. We're for hire IC, and being villains are willing to get our hands dirty if we have to. (We probably cannot be paid enough to willingly grab the idiot ball, or the villain ball, however. We have our pride!)

Just to entirely clear things up;
The Dauntless Reverie is a hero-side magical-themed SG that has been running (I think I'm right in saying) almost since the game got out of beta.
Anathema is the DR's sister-group that has been running since CoV started, but it is NOT exclusively magically themed. Though magical characters are entirely welcome and will find company within the ranks of other magically inclined beings.
But yeah, our recruitment cycle isn't up right now. Still,if you people haven't found a group to your liking by the time it re-ups, bear us in mind!

A little off-topic, but was is a recruiting cycle? Does it mean you only accept new member every X months or something like that? If so, why?

Yes, that's right. We only accept members every other month, or every few months.. I forget off the top of my head. The reason being that the leadership was lagging behind on applications, and getting burned out on the constant demand. So, to make sure that we wouldn't lose track of people and to keep the admin staff from going insane, we built in a "break-time."
