Nope.
I have itunes when I don't want to be listening to the ingame music. Putting anything into a game also requires licencing. That would increase the monthly fees, and open all manner of a mess of worms legally.

I'm not sure how various games (GTA, I think burnout) handle it - but as an MMO, we'd pretty much have to keep going through the process.
Of course, *perhaps* it would be able to be gotten around, much like Audiosurf, just by using music you already have on your system. Point to the directory. (Of course, I have to start poking into subfolders by artist, which could start making this more hassle than it's worth.)
iTunes, Windows Media Player, MP3 player, or your clock radio work just as well, dont cost anything in Dev time, and in the case of your own MP3 player or clock radio; they dont ding your System performance at all.

It's a Virtue-based internet radio station, pretty much exactly what you're looking for, especially since it's made specifically for CoX. I forgot how, but you can run it in Windows Media Player, the instructions are somewhere on they're site.

I take it that was a comment to the OP and not me. For my part I always have the 'theme music' in game set to 0, and often either dont have the sound on at all while I talk with the wife during play. It makes those 'Click the Glowie' missions a lot more exciting, and precog.

I think it would be kool to add music in the game you know like in Fallout 3 you have a pipboy that you can turn on the radio and enjoy the music when fighting crime! So anyone think this is a good idea?
