Water in the base

You can float a Slow Field above a blue floor (can't recall the pattern name but it looks like gravel), giving the effect of water. The Slow Field is a crafted base item, off the second tier crafting table as I recall.
Miyuki gravel is the pattern for the floor.

Heh, thanks CaptA. I can never remember the name of that, even though I've used it in the past for the very same reason as the OP.
It had been suggested to me to use the arcane version of the slow field device as it's a bit smaller.
Thanks everyone. I guess it's time for me to hit the crafting tables.
Remember, it can only go in a room that takes defensive items
I had wanted to put a water effect in my entrance room, but no go.

Another thing to keep in mind, the slow fields eat up 200 energy each. Adds up quick.

The Tech versions make a good sized black disc that apparantly has a green base or something because the water distortion effect smears it out to a big green blob highly visible around the disc.
The Arcane version is just a tiny block.

It's cool. I like it when there's green stuff floating in the pool. I don't trust water that I can't see.

I've noticed some pictures that appear to have water in the base.
I haven't been able to find anything that resembles water in the base builder, and the search function gave me no glory.
Can a noob get a tip?
